Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 poor bloke thought he was going to win the next 6 games after his last game. Even when Sevilla should have got about 5 goals. Delusional.
Old Fox Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Interesting.....maybe Shakey is the one behind this that he refers too.......... Its slightly more of a revelation than i anticipated him saying...clearly still hurts him massively!
foxfanazer Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Gentleman as always. Sad it ended the way it did
AjcW Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Not the players then.... sounds like that might be Shakey under the bus though, I like what he said, "what I had to say I said to their face" made it it very clear he had problems with someone behind the scenes though. Could be rudkin though......
Harry - LCFC Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Are the teams out yet? I take it that knob Carragher is starting

Perhaps the players struggled to understand him because I am struggling to follow what he is saying.
sdb Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Hmm well he's lied there. He kept the same team at the start of the season? Not sure Hernandes, Gray, King and Musa were regular starters last season.
Old Fox Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 He will always be folk hero and I for one have been proved completely wrong in that sacking him was the right decision. The man is very loyal and passionate but sadly I find this quite painful as I also think he is slightly deluded - but we move on best for all I believe!
AKCJ Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Yeah he's completely wrong to say that the players could only get going for the big clubs. Apparently he's forgotten the complete embarrassments against Man United and Liverpool.
AjcW Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Surprised there's not more reaction on here to the "behind the scenes problems" comment thought it would blow up
weller54 Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Repeated himself a few times... We played well against arsenal, Tottenham and City... Claudio ', mate!, that's just three games, how about the dross we had to witness in the other 20+ games!...
WilfND Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 1 minute ago, AjcW said: Surprised there's not more reaction on here to the "behind the scenes problems" comment thought it would blow up No, that will just be twitter trolls and the 'expert pundits' getting there 5p worth
AjcW Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Just now, WilfND said: No, that will just be twitter trolls and the 'expert pundits' getting there 5p worth I think that would be quite justified though, he didn't mix his words, he very clearly said he had problems with someone for two seasons and was visibly angry when he said he told that person to their face that they'd betrayed him.
Ted Maul Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 How patronising can it get?! Talking to him like he's sat looking out of the window of the old people's home with a vacant expression- "Oh, Claudio, have you had a little accident?"
Orange seat Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Cant help but love the bloke though. It's an absolute crying shame how the season started under him.
Monsell1976 Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Nothing good going to come from this, just as things start to settle, sky invite Claudio, hoping for an exclusive on the dirt, and now the rest of the slimy media will be adding their take on every word he says. Give them nothing Claudio, we know things went on, nobody knows what, but keep your dignity, and don't come across bitter, and spoil our love for you

We already know he was ignoring the backroom staff, so it's no surprise they didn't get on and him doing so was his own mistake.
Babylon Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 Motivation was a big issue, another one was him not being able to rectify that and then losing the plot towards the end.
Hammo Posted 10 April 2017 Posted 10 April 2017 I seriously wonder whether Claudio's limited pidgin English was an issue with the players and coaching staff.
