lol arsenal fans having to sit through 40 minutes of Leicester city tactical analysis

It goes a little way towards making up for the amount of times on Sunday Supplement they've discussed Wengers future over the last several years, the whole "jam in the summertime" debate that it will come good eventually and they're on the right tracks etc. It's  like Groundhog day, you think "Is this a repeat from 2010?". Then they run out of time to cover stories that would have been genuinely interesting. And the stubborn old goat is still there stumbling out of the Champions League and not troubling the top of the table.

Age works in mysterious ways - and so does the human brain.

Much more likely is that this season just presented different challenges which he wasn't as great as dealing with.

Who organises this shit?

Tell you what lads - Leicester are playing in the quarter finals of the CL on Wednesday... let's stick them on the late kick off on Sunday... then just for a  laugh let's get their ex manager on mnf the next day and slag them off as much as possible

Right I can understand where people are coming from when speculating the unrest came from Shakey and I somewhat agree.

However anyone this it was possibly the phsycologist, Ken Way? Ranieri mention there were problems last season as well, as well as the lead up to this season, Ken Way was disposed of in the summer in quite a harsh and undignified fashion, perhaps this led to unrest between backroom staff and player mentality for this season.

Strange how Ken Way only spoke and got stories out after Ranieri's sacking aswell.

Hey i'm only speculating but I feel it could be a potential scenario.

Can't imagine so as he said he told him face to face when he left.

Don't really care to be perfectly honest, he had a great team behind them and started to isolate them... it's his own fault!

The problem was results for his sacking nothing else. We already know he was ignoring the backroom staff, so it's no surprise they didn't get on and him doing so was his own mistake.

Fvckin profile pic made me laugh!!

what an awful programme - no insight or revelation, incoherent analysis and Claudio roped in as a (presumably well remunerated) stooge. I'm glad I only ever watch the actual matches on Sky.

Perfect this is, it will fire the boys up again after a bit of a dead rubber league game with Wednesday very clearly on the mind, time for another 6 game win streak again I make that 2 x A Madrid palace A Arsenal A West Bromwich A an the first leg of the semis, cheers Claudio, I think this will be used to keep the ? burning.

Yes it is really sad actually and very painful to watch as I completely agree with you.

The players did have issues but they were not the only ones and clearly credibility within the club to turn it around was eroding.

Can they just cut to bloody palace versus The Arse - timing of this could not be worse but actually maybe Shakey will get the players to be even more together with him for Wednesday - I hope so!!

Why is it painfull to watch..the biggest failure was Sky not having Neville as the front guy instead of Carragher.

So far humble, no blame towards players...not directed at one person but problems with people from BRS.

He did Tear apart the backroom staff, he has to stand to that...Hey No football club has unity through the ranks.

They are all their own soaps..

His short discussion on the tactics and whys were interesting happy times.

Why he like Simpson sitting, told Carragher he screened the incorrect first games team.

Why Kante,... positive indication to Walsh On choice, why Kante started on the wing.

Mahrez , Vardy Okazaki movement across the  front line Thoughts and ideas.

Drinkwater, Kante eventually meshing and switching during games.

Albrightons part in forward movement.

Not this forums thoughts but his..!!   Worth listening to.  Even with his broken English it was great

to see him again...

No misery, no spite...some hurt...an example of how to conduct yourself in an interview..

Nothing good going to come from this, just as things start to settle, sky invite Claudio, hoping for an exclusive on the dirt, and now the rest of the slimy media will be adding their take on every word he says.

Give them nothing Claudio, we know things went on, nobody knows what, but keep your dignity, and don't come across bitter, and spoil our love for you

Maybe it all coming back up will renew the siege mentality just in time for the madrid game.  The players attributed the liverpool performance to criticism received last time. Added motivation.

They could have asked him to demonstrate Musa's role for us using the screen but there was only an hour before kick off and the screen would probably blow a fuse

With the danger of sounding a bit derogatory towards elderly people, I can see one problem being a 65-year old in charge. For how long can you maintain that hunger and passion for the game even at an advanced age?

At some point, you've got to realize you don't have it any longer and with Claudio, I fear he's just gone past the expiry date in terms of management capabilities. His measures with regards to diet and staff picks at LCFC come across as a bit... erratic.

Sorry...but look at some of the great International and club managers, a few old rockers among them....

Yep but they are only the 2nd feature tonight....a bit like the whole of  last season...lol

Impossible not to love him but it's a bit like listening to your slightly demented grandad. Kind, caring, loving, but a slightly inaccurate recollection of the past. Still, the bloke will forever be one of my favourite people.

i think our players will be motivated even more. whenever we get bad press or pundits writing us off, our boys always respond on the pitch and shut them up.

Where was the slagging...Plus if you are a behind the sofa type of fan....Man up!!!   this is football.

Its all part of the entertainment and relevant football news.

Sky was right in getting Ranieri in. The bitching so Far has come from within this forum...
