Atletico 2nd leg at home

I know we normally wait till it's our next fixture before starting pre match threads but this is arguably our biggest fixture ever.

1 nill down and you have to say, it is likely that Atletico will grab a goal, so it looks as if we're going to need 3 goals to get through.

Our big advantage is being at home and the atmosphere we can create. We can drown out the Atletico supporters and make so much noise at important decisions that the ref is unlikely to be able to favour them.

Huth suspended so Morgan really needs to be fit for this. Benny was motm for me at atletico so I'm not worried about him playing. Vary and Ndidi didn't get booked so we have them. Obviously massive fixture this weekend in the prem so it's going to be hard to rest players.

Atletico don't often concede 3 goals, so for me I think we've got to defend like we've never defended and try and snatch a goal. I think with our crowd and home advantage we'd get a win in et or penalties.

Key is to score first. Get the crowd on side, have them rattled.

If Atletico take the lead, it'll be a mountain to climb.

And I fear we'll then desperately have to send men forward for them to counterattack us and score more.

Got to be in their faces from the off like Sevilla. Fans to play a huge part again :scarf:

Tuesday can't come soon enough for me, if ever there was an occasion for us to raise our game as the twelfth man this is it

If they couldn`t manage a (legal) goal against us at their place what makes you think they`ll score at the KP ?  :-)

Not sure though. Could dominate us in midfield. And I'm not sure how we'd fair without Shinji.

Oh god - if we're 2-0 up and they snaffle one late on to go through on away goals, I'm done for - won't be able to take it. Petrified of conceding. First goal is so crucial.

Long shot but my life long leicester supporter friend  is gonna be here in Leicester on Tuesday from America, he's willing to pay over retail for a ticket obviously, anyone know if there's any available anywhere?

It would make the penalty that never was all the more annoying.

Might well see Fuchs with Benalouane at CB, with Chilwell moving to LB. Depends on the situation with Morgan come Tuesday.

Even tougher ask now given the intensity of the game today. For everyone that is going, we need to make the atmosphere versus Sevilla sound like a library! Our job is to sing until our lungs are empty! It will take an incredible effort from players and fans to do it, but we CAN do it.

I personally can't see us scoring. I just think these are a step up on Sevilla!

They're defensively so solid and hard to break down.

it looks like we'll have both of our usual centre backs missing for this as well.
