Well. Baker, you sit with the UFS do you not? Claiming a victory when they stayed in the ground 'looking for a phone nicking flags' is a very good start.

That's cringey yes. But at the end of the day HF are just trying to create an atmopshere and to be fair to them they've got to be in the top 3 loudest home supports in England?

I'd be surprised if there are fireworks...UEFA don't even let us play PHG!

Don't like flags but let's face it we're a laughing stock anyway because of the clappers so it's not as if things can get much worse.

Had to laugh at that bloke at Palace during half time during the kids' penalty thing, when he turned around to us and shouted "come on Leicester fans, get your clappers out".

When the staff at Palace are taking the piss you know it's bad...

Agree with other posters though - there's bugger all we can do about it now so let's just get on with it

Probably wanted to see the design of our clappers so they can nick them, as well as our songs...

Tbf, it's time to double down when Palace are taking the piss.

Totally agree, Jason.  Smash 'em to oblivion...

Flags have had a negative reputation because of the Chelsea "plastic flags" dig by Liverpool and others. A whole ground in unison waving them is a great sight for me, everyone is involved in some way which is a positive.

I saw quite a few saying the Palace fans were absolute pony at the weekend. I think cleverly positioned mics account for a lot of their noise.

They were and they didn't get going until they scored. Add in their repitoire only has two or three songs, they're certainly not as good as people make out.

Mics do make a difference like us at home, any infront of the away section will pick up fans, someone mentioned this in the Man Utd 5-3 game, away section had mics far closer to the fans than any home area. I think he even asked someone why at the time, was in a thread on here.

Very impressed with the pre-match scenes last night.

Might be the last month ahead we get to watch the current squad who have brought us the time of our lives.

Would be great to have a farewell/thank you tifo.

Good idea. A list of some of the achievements on the runners. The words THANK YOU on the main spread.

To be fair, I think the biggest tantrum has come from you in this thread :D

Show me a post that is a tantrum?

Larry made a point about opinions and the right to voice it, yet if that point goes against the guys getting upset cos it wasn't UFS' s pretties then that's a tantrum from me?

I stated clearly UFS have done some good pretties and I appreciate the endeavour involved.

Just because the Club made a decision to do their own pretties, totally their perogative,  which encompassed the WHOLE ground and involved EVERYONE. Sadly it was met with petty jealousy, criticism and yes I say some tantrums!

Like Larry said I'm there for the football and can take or leave the pretties, they look very good for a very brief period and last night, for the record, looked great.

So please understand that the CLUB have the right to make such decisions and if you or others don't like it you have a choice to vote with your feet.

I'll continue to be there supporting the club, pretties or no pretties.

That and playing 'Glad All Over' so loud it can be heard the other side of London.

I don't care either way man, you just seemed to be getting a kick out of whining about it, over and over and over again.

They were lovely pretties and at least it didn't look like we had set up a KKK meeting like the sevilla game

It was amazing!

No disrespect to Union FS and i'd just like to state i'm not making a Club v Union FS arguement, I'm more sticking a finger up to those getting their knickers in a twist about the club doing something, but I think that was as good if not better than anything Union FS have done.

Even their goal celebrations are cringeworthy and club choreographed.

The Crystal Palace goalscorer, number 17, Christian...

BENTEKE!

Christian....

BENTEKE!

(Singing along with goal music)

GLAD ALL OVER!

Their fans and atmosphere are an absolute myth.
