Fox 4 Life Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 We need to get a manager in asap as Koeman will be gone this week and unfortunately they are still a bigger pull

Wymsey Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 (edited) It'd be sad if Everton don't turn this around and actually have a big prospect in going down. One of only a few teams that have never been relegated (?). Could happen, as how much are they willing to spend further in January, and then new players have to perform straightaway., at this rate.. I was wondering... just on the off chance... not sure how you'd feel,.... but could we please borrow your manager for a few years??? 1

foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 How Everton didn’t prioritise trying to replace lukaku is incredible...
StriderHiryu Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 Surely that's the end of Koeman? Quite incredible how he's manager to make a team that achieved a very respectable 7th place last year to the bottom 3 despite spending so much money on new players. Sure they lost Lukaku, but the inability to lineup a replacement is amateur at best. Also despite our board sacking Shakespeare we are way better than West Ham or Everton. Those teams genuinely look like they could go down, whereas we just looked like a West Brom esque super boring, middle of the road side. 1

He’ll be Bobby fooking Moore next week of course. He looked bloody awful today...but like Stones, hes young and can learn from this... Mind you, hes probably wondering why he left, Burnley for this.!!! Everton have got the players, the manager....but something aint clicking. Looking at the bottom 6, all their squads look decent, but the football gods seem to choose their own favourites..Every 3 years Everton tend to have a dire season. CPalace, also have good players,...I find it strange when I see us and these 2 struggling.

I would argue their recruitment in terms of mediocre players and millions spent was a much bigger car crash than our own ( although they did manage to sign them before the deadline )
teblin Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 I think I was one of the few that thought Keane was awful when he played for us.

whoareyaaa Posted 22 October 2017 Posted 22 October 2017 Koeman seems like a miserable manager to work under, no wonder they are playing how they are and people want him here

If they've not sacked him by now then he'll be taking the next game. You have a point. I'm quite amazed that he's still around though. Edited 22 October 2017 by ZeGuy

They weren't promoted they finished in the relegation spot in the last season before the war and then forced/influenced a vote to allow them to stay in the top league when the football resumed or something like that. The ultimate cheats

At Everton, he's never appeared to want to adapt the team with what tools he has available. Southampton was so different though.

That's where I must have mis-read, where I thought I read that they've NEVER to have been relegated, but it's only taking into account this PL competition. Thanks. Everton haven’t been relegated for about 60 years. They’ll not go down. There’s too many worse sides.
