Five defenders running towards their goal like a herd of wildebeest not picking anyone in particular up...reminds me of our game at Southampton last season...."aaah paaaaaniiiicc". Do these guys actually train together? Do they ever watch their performances back?

That is awful defending. Heading it straight back into a dangerous area.

Next time the ball goes out it’s half time - surely you just head it the way you’re facing for a corner ?????

Kane is pure class, England could actually win something with him up top

You're funny.

scores every game, when you have someone like that in your team you win things (sort of lol)

Liverpool's defending is disgraceful, genuinely think they're worse at the back than us.

That 3rd is appalling defending as well. Headed back into a dangerous area and not a single one of them picks up Alli.

They'll come about 6th this year.

Surely that's the end of Koeman?

Quite incredible how he's manager to make a team that achieved a very respectable 7th place last year to the bottom 3 despite spending so much money on new players. Sure they lost Lukaku, but the inability to lineup a replacement is amateur at best.

Also despite our board sacking Shakespeare we are way better than West Ham or Everton. Those teams genuinely look like they could go down, whereas we just looked like a West Brom esque super boring, middle of the road side.

I don't think we are in a position to slag off other clubs transfer business.

They have not paid 22m and about 1.6m in wages on a player they can't use. We can't even get another right back.

Like we needed a decent midfielder Everton needed a new number 9. Still we didn't blow £45M on a player who's so far been anonymous

He's probably a multi millionaire already (there's the problem...right there) so his 'big move' has probably seen him sorted for the rest of his days.

I’m not really sure what you’re getting at there is relevant. Bayern must have seen something in him to spend that amount of money. A high fee isn’t his fault and I think it’s a credit to him to go to Swansea for game time and to improve when he could have stayed at Bayern and sat the season out. Your assessment seems unfair.

I don’t think that has a lot to do with it, he’d have been on a sizeable wage at Benfica, of course at Bayern he’ll be on an even bigger wedge but, M’Bappe for example will also be a millionaire and he’s fúcking brillint despite his ‘big move’. What’s most likely the reason for his average performances is that he’s just not that good.

This.

No we spent 22m on a player that can't play for half the season. Then 10 more games for him to get fit and used to the prem. Then we have that chance he can't hack it in the prem.
