breadandcheesebrother Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Just thought I'd mark that likely fact here. I'm sure it's been noted elsewhere but in case not it should be.
China Black Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 At least we won the Premier League and achieved what nobody ever expected us to do. Nobody, I mean NOBODY, can ever take that fact away from us.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 "Champions of England, we know what we were" will be sung on Saturday afternoon, then.

sylofox Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 I don't care in twelve months we will be champions again.

"Champions of England.....we'll do it again!" - for at least the next 20 years.
Matt Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 There is no way we can officially end it for Tottenham now is there? Realistically? I didn't think Chelsea had a midweek game till I just looked. I was hoping they'd lose/draw tonight (Unlikely I know) and then we could officially end it for Tottenham on Thursday, but even if Chelsea do lose/draw tonight, they've got Watford at home on Tuesday, they're surely win one or both of these two games. Childish, sad, I don't care, I wanted us to end it for Tottenham, or to put it another way end our reign of Champions on our own terms.
KingsX Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Chelsea didn't need our help any more than we needed theirs.
urban.spaceman Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Just enough time to rewatch that video what I made. As I will be uploading the final, final edit in just under an hour. Promise.

Tottenham Hotspur it's happened again will still get an airing though

CockneyFox Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Hope they do it and help reel in the Baggies for us to snatch 8th place
PaulW Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 I'm 70, nearly 71, & have supported 'em since I was a kid of 10 living in Thurcaston. Have lived away all my adult life......but I still well up just thinking about it all. Still can't believe that it really happened in my lifetime.

fazzyfox Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 We'll still be the most recent team to WIN the league, Chelsea have just bought it. Before it's pointed out how much we've spent in the last year I mean the broader picture including salaries, stockpiling players, paying fines for illegal approaches etc. I wonder how prominent Terry will be in the celebrations having been such an integral part of things this season, hope he lets the younger players have an occasional touch of the trophy. For a year it appears that god had turned his hand to football, now it's as we were again, he seems to have moved on to tennis where fit young birds of little previous success beat returning drug cheats. Plastic.

I'll be raising a glass to those few good men and the thousands backing them.
foxy boxing Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 I'm just going to savour it till the final whistle if Chelsea win the game and am glad I was here when we won the title last year and hope for many more magical moments.
lgfualol Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Still got time to fit in a few more tugs. Might be the last time I can have a spank in my life while Leicester are champions.
fuchsntf Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Jesus wept...I am 63 full grown man, seen it all, walked it , dranked it, ate it, loved it, kissed it, climbed it (base camps). Watch the Birth of my Children, have my true love, tell me she loves me. Re-read the bible, went through the Karma-sutra, just to be sure I hadnt missed anything..today looked in the eyes of my Grandchild AMY, 4yrs old who climbed on my bed, and told me she loved as she placed an heart crown on my head, and told me she loved me..... But that day, that time, that lift...!!! drained me of all tears and emotions, I never "knew" for a dream I could/would ever see flow nor have...
Chico1958 Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Two whole seasons of different emotions. The surprise..........Leicester winning games consistently The joy.................. Seeing the Manager and the Team Win the league The misery.............The Little French Guy desert us at our peak The frustration........The Pre-Season and everything that happened until Feb The upset...............Claudio ( Sacked ) need I say more The elation..............Liverpool, Sevilla The pride................Madrid The happiness........ West Brom, Watford, Survival Confirmed The jealousy...........Chelsea and The Little French Guy lifting our Trophy God, can't wait for the next chapter good, bad or indifferent............. I love our Club
