So much for the sucker punch. shitty linesman or not, can't say their goal was undeserved. We're wank in the middle.

Even if he doesn't touch it surely by going for the ball he is interfering with play

It doesn't matter if Sterling touches it or not.

Surely swinging your foot at the ball two yards from goal has to be "active" for Christ sakes?

Giving Bobby Madley a whistle is like giving a blindfolded chimpanzee the steering controls of an airplane. Strap yourselves in folks, anything could happen.

Touch or no touch he made a movement to become involved.

This is just it.

How is Sterling not interfering with play there? Whether he kicks it or not he's taken a huge swing at it 5 yards out!

The only thing King has over Drinky is a presence in the box defensively, 3 or 4 times already he's got a block or a clearance in but on the flip side we're getting killed through the middle, need to go to a 3.

Evened up there with Fuchs challenge? Bit worried by him so far. He still dives in a bit too much like he's playing LB still

We are looking at getting hammered here, midfield getting over run, is king playing, and we have no outlet, so just soaking up pressure, matter of time before we concede again

When was last time we had a massive moment of luck leading to a goal???

Apparently every single penalty we got last season was a dive, so all of those.

The problem with Mahrez in these tight situations is that he dallies on the ball too long. He takes too long to play it back/sideways which allows the opponent to press on the front foot or get tight to him. It's all fine and well wanting his marker to get tight if he spins away to receive a ball over the top, but he doesn't. He just jockeys back out wide and the opponents continue their press.

I'm going say it was a legit goal as I have a £50 bet with a Man City fan that Sterling won't make it into PL double figures

It was offside. Simple.

But we aren't pressing em and I didn't realise King was on the pitch, thought he'd been lost under the car park somewhere.
