Kelechi Iheanacho

Iheanacho wants to come here if reports are to be believed. Why is he going to go to Spurs who only play one up front and try and get in ahead of Harry Kane? We had this scaremongering before Ndidi signed.

Press reports saying Spuds looking to hi-jack deal.  He could be used as a 'makeweight' in the Kyle Walker to City deal.

its all boll*cks...the story uses phrases such as 'may' and 'could'. Its basically a filler based on the thoughts of the journalist (and i use that phrase in the loosest possible sense). There isn't a source within 100 miles of this toilet paper

Man city will not stregnthen a title rival with one of the most promising youngsters in the game, this would of happend already if it was going to, they wouldnt have bothered agreeing a deal subject to a medical with us

"The Most Promising Talent in Africa, Kelechi Iheanacho, has reported back for pre-season training at Manchester City even though he has agreed a five-year deal with former Premier League champions Leicester City.

In the coming days, possibly before the end of the week, all the i's will be dotted and the t's crossed, and the Foxes will announce the signing of the Nigerian.

Manchester City have uploaded pictures confirming that Iheanacho was at City Football Academy on Monday for the start of pre-season preparations.

The Citizens manager Pep Guardiola also ran the rule over England youth international Tosin Adarabioyo yesterday, despite suggestions that he could depart the Etihad Stadium on loan this summer.

Man City have lined up friendlies against Manchester United, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in pre-season."

I know its the Nigerian press but theyve not been wrong yet! especially with the Musa & Ndidi deals

Similar source but seemingly updated story that seems well-enough detailed to be worth some credit for all that there are discrepencies from this in terms of contract length and with regard to the medical.

It is dragging out a fair bit mind. Even by Rudkins' usual standards!! We've been in poll position apparently for well over a week now.

Prepare yourself lads. Troy is still available!!

Yep - despite it being pretty common knowledge that it's things the player's end holding up the deal, let's blame Rudkin.

I thought Rudkin "jokes" were a thing of the past - it seems not .

Anyhow the delay is apparently due to a contract dispute following a change in the player's agency arrangements so unless that gets sorted expect further hanging about . Whoever tries to "hijack" the deal will face the same obstacle
