Sublime_Coatsworth Posted 31 May 2017 Posted 31 May 2017 We're bigger than Everton - that'll piss the scouse twats off!

foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 May 2017 Posted 31 May 2017 The owners, couldn't have imagined this. Unbelievable really, they have actually made i fortune buying our club.

Is it because they have more possession and play best football ?

Hey come to leicester city this summer where we dont currently have a manager, that does not bode well for recruitment and will put people off.
Clever Fox Posted 31 May 2017 Posted 31 May 2017 It just proves once again how important getting the right Manager is to any Club.
Chico1958 Posted 31 May 2017 Posted 31 May 2017 Clever Fox you're a Clever Fox Now all we need is the next right manager to take us to the next level
norwichfox Posted 31 May 2017 Posted 31 May 2017 I'd rather we were consistently good at football than making tons of money....

Not convinced he's a winger especially in a 4 man midfield but he's quick and can finish scored 2 goals against Argentina in a world cup and 2 against Barca. he may have a good season this year. His 1st year in Russia wasn't exactly a success but he hit form in his second season.

I agree that he should be given until January However, if we get a very good offer in the meantime then we should cut our losses and attempt to recruit a more sure option.

Yes a fairytale PL Trophy helps somewhat but still incredible I don't think anybody criticises the owners from a football and financial point of you, if so then I don't understand why. I'm very much grateful for what they've given us. There are some things I'm not so comfortable with though. I'm not comfortable with the changing of the club's colours or '#FEARLESS' being plastered all over the stadium.

Guest Danny Clender Posted 1 June 2017 Posted 1 June 2017 Love it when football fans talk about accounting.
Thracian Posted 1 June 2017 Posted 1 June 2017 It does represent extraordinary progress but, strangely, we also seem to have wasted lots. Our Champions League exploits and the doubtful success in avoiding relegation saved what was actually a pretty dreadful season last year both in terms of results and eyecatching football and I reflect on what might have been with the benefit of some wise close-season spending and a proper pre-season. I was going to say purposeful pre-season but there is purpose in building the brand and there'll be more of that this close season with the Chinese tournament so we're perhaps equally in danger of losing impetus at the start of the Premiership season due to the demands of so much travel, promotional activities and what I expect will be quite significant incomings and outgoings on the playing side. That said, it will be staggering if we do anything but lose financial ground next season. With no Champions League income, no manager, the likely loss of Mahrez and, perhaps, one or two others, we'll be back to the bread and butter of trying to build a more exciting future among the scramble of every other challenger to those in the upper echelon of our game. And the more the managerial indecision continues the less I'm convinced we'll have the momentum to succeed. It's almost as if Shakespeare's done the job required of him and has now put himself in the embarrassing position of being the only man deserving of the job full-time - but not necessarily the man the owners want or believe can actually deliver the international profile and advancement they're looking for. As I've said before in other circles, it no longer seems to be an advantage - or fashionable - to be an Englishman in England.

So why did he go for a medical at Arsenal if he didnt want to leave?? Presumably then just to increase his negotiating power at LCFC sensing that timing was perfect for 'another' new contract and hefty salary increase.....and then he tells the world he is staying loyal to Leicester! Hmmmmm.....not sure i share his definition of the word 'loyalty'

Didn't Walsh sanction the signings of Musa, Amartey and the lad we got from Spain? (Name escapes me). Hernandez? His latter signings have been nowhere near the quality of some of the earlier ones.
