LinekersApples Posted 1 July 2017 Posted 1 July 2017 It certainly gives us the option and ability to change during matches. We didn't have that last year. Looking for an additional forward who isn't necessarily a number 10 would also add fuel to this.

RCB: Maguire, Simpson CB: Huth, Morgan LCB: New CB, Benalouane We'll also need to sign another RWB as back up for Albrighton.

Too much starting talent on the bench. All three can still play in the league.
Livid Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 A few WBA fans on Twitter claiming he's put in a transfer request. Who knows?

I'd be tempted with: Simpson. . . Maguire. . . . Evans

FoxinNotts Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 All this chat about playing three at the back, but using Simpson in that three, when we'll potentially have 5 good centre backs to choose from!

Then I realised we played Jeff Schlupp there.. So I guess it could work?

dylanlegend Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 I don't see the point in getting another CB unless we are gonna play 3-5-2. Everyone is obsessed with this 2 players for each position malarkey. Sven was, it nornallly just means we end up with too many players and a load of squad discontent. The opposite of what won us the league
