This was the big one, well two, and we had to wait until nearly 2am to get it.

After Leicester asked for a two-hour extension after the 11pm deadline to try to complete the signing of Adrien Silva from Sporting Lisbon, while also trying to sell Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea.

In the end, they both happened.

Drinkwater joined Chelsea for £35m, while Silva comes in a £22m deal.

The longer it goes on the mire you think it's not happened. But if it's not happened I'm sure there'd have been some sort of leak now. Mercury seem very confident. Just have to wait and see. Might be waiting for pictures etc if it is finalised.

Not ITK, but I've been reliably told that the delay in taking a picture is because they have been waiting for Saffron Lane Fancy Dress to open so they can get a wooden leg, cutlass and tricorn hat for the photoshoot.

The original link posted from the Mercury was from 02.21 this morning. No confirmation that everything was completed in time

I've just been in Boots in Highcross and I saw Rudkin tapping his feet and fidgeting impatiently near the photo counter.

Saying it's done in Portugal - in their press anyway, and Crossman who claims to know him seems confident.
