They're probably filming him doing some embarrassing shit for the announcement video that every club seems to do.

He's probably arm wrestling Jobber and that dwarf Berney in the Symphony

I think it has all been done. Leicester are just setting up the official announcement etc with the usual pictures/lame introduction video

I want an intro video like the pellegrini to roma one

Er....contract extension for Ulloh??

Do you think he's done that without the manager agreeing it? That will have been CS's decision and it's most probably more about being seen to look after players, treat them right... rather than a bag of shite like Ranieri clearly did.

You have no idea if it isn't in the bag. Not telling people doesn't mean it's not done.

We have a long history of the OS being the last thing to actually announce a transfer. We had pictures of Iheanacho at the club and Nigerians saying it was all done and signed and it still took the club about a day to release the info.

True but this all feels unnecessarily drawn out.

Its 5pm... what the hell is happening :)

Might ignore the fact you are in Oz to add to my own narrative that at least I'm not the only one to have lost the plot.

Arshavin to the Arse was announced 24 hours later, that's what I am clinging to.

A very good mate of mine is a solicitor for Slaughter and May who took care of that transfer and he worked on this deal. There wasn't even a deal agreed after the extended deadline and this one still went through.

Could be a dozen different reasons, from the FA checking all the details to make sure the correct process was followed, to Top saying he want to get his face in the shots. This isn't particularly unusual, it's happened with quite a few transfers here and elsewhere. Of course it could be something is wrong with the paperwork and we're arguing our case.

As you claim to know absolutely everything, perhaps you can confirm Shakey sanctioned this? If not, then it could be just Rudkin?

Everyone needs to calm down a bit.

European transfers aren't quite as simple as English club to club transfers, there are extra parties involved, like the Portuguese FA for one, so it can take longer to confirm a transfer.

Drinkwater to Chelsea, although conducted at the same time, only involved the English FA, with a notification email going to UEFA, it was a lot simpler process.

Following on from that, we wouldn't be able to officially announce a signing until everyone involved has confirmed their acceptance of the deal.

This sort of delay isn't at all out of the ordinary.

Everyone chill!

He won't be making decisions on players, it's not his role. Why on earth would he sign up a player the manager doesn't want to sign up. You're just using it as another lame excuse to bash people.

On Paper this guy is miles better than Drinkwater at everything. He just doesn't have premiership experience which is key. However has international experience and has medals round his neck from the euros.

Would we even be doing a photo shoot this morning? Surely he would have just jetted straight back off to international duty last night?

I read on Twitter that he did fly straight back to Portugal, but because the deal hadn't been completed.

Portugal already played last night, plus he's carrying a slight knock, so wouldn't be doing anything today anyway.  If he was to be involved he'll be back in training tomorrow, so gives us all day today
