Fox 4 Life Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Just read on Twitter that due to the time of the deal FIFA need to ratify it. Not sure how true however Got a bad feeling about this though. Why wouldn't they have announced it, the deadline was 1am and the DD timings exactly the same.

We wouldn't have let Drinky go at the last minute if we weren't sure, surely. Hopefully something will be out early in the morning. Silva looks a classy player, very different to Drinky though who bosses games if given the freedom and a real engine to go with it when fit. Another factor to watch out for will be our renowned team spirit as Drinky has been integral, clearly very good friends with King, Simpson, James & Vardy, played very well with Vardy & Mahrez too. Silva has alot to prove and comes in with responsibility on his shoulders right away, interesting to see if we've got this right.

They were at identical times.

Think.the Mercury are just basing their "deal completed" on the fact that drinky has gone. I really hope I'm wrong and the club were trying to think of a bonkers way to announce him.

It's a sobering thought that we can just be on our way to work one morning and then suddenly.... gone. Look after yourself mate, and try and be there for his family if and when they need you.

Shipping out one of the best CMs and not replacing, means an odd injury here and there and we are back to King and Amartey and a relegation battle. Surely they have not cocked it up so badly.
