Now Sporting went to FIFA because it wasn't is fault and the signing was done. It literally means none of those things. All international transfers need international clearance.

They will just be ratifying that the process was followed correctly. There have been issues in the past with submitting the info to the FA, clubs have got around it with plenty of excuses. You just need to jump through the hoops. Fingers crossed.

Bezzanator89 Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 For the love of God, if this move collapses because we took too long (yet again), yet Chelsea managed to get Drinkwater in time under the same time-pressure circumstances, serious questions must be asked about Jon Rudkin's position.
Max Power Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Come on FIFA do the right thing. Always liked them. Top organisation. Top lads.

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Hold on, if the deal didn't go through does that mean he's ours, but can only start playing him in January?? Recall for Harvey Barnes then

If Sporting said ' in their end the deal was done on time' it means Sporting want the money no matter if FA/FIFA accept Adrien transfer or not. Still, it was the first time/place I see reporting that Sporting said that.

Yes, you clearly have all the information to hand and are in no way scapegoating before the fact.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Can everyone stop panicking, international deals take longer than domestic because you need fifa approval rather than the FA.

September 22nd is the Portuguese deadline day, according to Mirror & Express UEFA obviously has no set deadline because of the various different dates & times, FIFA the same So the only deadline potentially broken is the PL/FA
