I think Mahrez does enjoy playing for us but doesn't see us as the best team he'll play for. I understand that.

Today was a complete shambles but it is in his interest to keep playing well and remain in the spotlight so hopefully we'll benefit.

Apologize, explains his actions and move on. Massive asset.

Hopefully he does this. If his agent is behind this, he shouldn't take the fall for him.

Delighted he's still here. Badly advised by his agent most likely. He needs to put it behind him and continue playing as he has started this season.

Creates a problem for Shakey do.

The next 4 months gonna be toxic! The smallest mistake and he will be hung to dry.

As for me, i'm happy that the team didn't lose him, this late in the window and no replacements, that's the best thing that could happen!

Mahrez has only himself to lose.

If that makes any sense.

Every time riyad starts to win fans back, he does something stupid.

Fans wormed up to him after the preseason and he came up with the Roma talk

Fans wormed up to him again after the good start of the season , and he does this!

The FA should've not let him leave. All of this could've been avoided!

Here's hoping Mahrez realises that it's not the club's fault he hasn't left, and that the best way to get signed to a top club is to play like he belongs there, unlike last season...  (Assuming he doesn't leave tomorrow that is!)

And I don't disagree, the rope was already tight on his neck by the usual posters and he got it even tighter.

Be honest, he's not completely innocent, he must have agreed to things, the actions, the statements, if not his agent hasn't really looked after his clients intrests (which he hasn't either way but even more so if he's done all this behind Mahez's back which he wouldn't have) and if I were Riyad I think I'd be considering looking for a new agent.

Hes been poorly advised but like the saying "if he told you to jump of a cliff would you?"....he didn't have to do those things.

Safe to say that he fvcked up badly today. Didn't realize he was strolling around without telling the club.

Not saying that he has nothing to do with what happened, his agent didn't drag him by the ear!

Was just thinking that maybe his agent told him that a club was ready to pay the price tag, that's all!
