Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 Getting into SK1 was easy, but getting a half time pint was impossible! Ridiculously poor service.

Same here, easy getting in but getting a pint pre-match was impossible, I put it down to slow, new students (It's always slow, but today was beyond a joke) add to that they couldn't even change a barrel (Although that was probably/possibly someone more senior/a supervisor)
Lcfcbisto Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 I missed 25 min due to the fact my season ticket would not work. Was queing for at least 50min. I now have to waste more of my time phoning them to get this issue sorted as aparently if I don't the issue won't get resolved, it's there **** up not mine I've had the same season ticket for 7 years they should phone me. Things were made worse by the massive amount of people who needed to upgrade tickets as they had tried to get a cheaper season ticket in the family stand and got found out
dbtcity Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 Snap I had to que up twice today 1st time for my old man to get a replacement season ticket which cost him £10 which I thought was ridiculous... then when I tried to get in the ground my season ticket didn't work, queued for 45 mins(missing the 1st 10 mins) only to get some jumped up snotty **** who gave me a ticket and said I had to try again with the season ticket that didn't work against Chelsea!!! I refused as I said I wouldn't be doing the same again to which he all of a sudden realised it was an old season ticket and he'd have to get a new 1 sent out to me as they couldn't issue 1... which was bs as they did just that an hour prior for my dad!! Why they didn't just send new season tickets out to everyone I will never know absolute shambles
FLAN Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 2/3 new tickets for reasons unknown but the old one still worked.
Super_horns Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 There were problems at our place last week and it seems for Bournemouth fans today - must be a general Premier league thing!
lanefox Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 No problems getting in , queue for beer was long but when has it ever not been
Bluetintedspecs Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 I'm glad I refuse to drink that shite beer.
Buzzell Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 No problem for me and my Bro to get some beers. In SK1 where the bookies was has turned into a Pie Factory place. Hardly a que. Got straight into the ground and had a beer in my hand 5 minutes later. But saying that at half time it was hectic because of the ques for beers and the toilet.
Harry - LCFC Posted 19 August 2017 Posted 19 August 2017 Saw two people walk back out the turnstiles because their ST/ticket didn't work. There's also this tweet from a Brighton fan showing how poor the club performed in allowing away fans through the gates

If I turned up at 14:50 I'd expect to be able to get in without missing kick off. The club is a joke and I don't get why people stick up for them. How the club is run is a complete and utter joke.

Jimmy Posted 20 August 2017 Posted 20 August 2017 they were searching every away fan and only had 2 stewards doing it when I walked past, they need to have at least double that really
UniFox21 Posted 20 August 2017 Posted 20 August 2017 Think i read something, potentially on Jim's Twitter of a bigger than usual amount of people arriving late?
jayfox26 Posted 20 August 2017 Posted 20 August 2017 I do agree that the club needs to do more to get people in quicker but i have no sympathy for people who rock up at 2.55 and complain about missing the start of the game. It actually really ****s me off when i have to stand up to let people past me 10 minutes into the game. And then the same people make you move again 10 minutes before half time and then leave 10 minutes before the final whistle. The club needs to improve but a small minority of fans have no respect for other fans
EnglishOxide Posted 20 August 2017 Posted 20 August 2017 With regards to away fans complaints, a lot of fans did turn up quite late. Also, there were two turnstiles broken so this combined with the checks on the inside of the stadium contributed to the problem of big queues. I can't speak for the rest of the ground but it does seem like we have these issues with tickets at every first home game of a new season.
Livid Posted 20 August 2017 Posted 20 August 2017 Well I turned up at 2.35, took about 10 minutes for me to get in. Mate I was with in a different block didn't get in until 3.15 due to his ST card (retained from last season) not working. It wasn't the best.
