They'd scored 4 goals in their last 2 games, top internationals in every position , at home. They deserved respect.

No. They are just the opposition. You go out and play your game. We've won the league since they last did. Inferiority complex.

Poor CS   I think that he was and is an assistant to manager

For CS the EPL table begin from 8-20 so Leicester will drop 21x 2 = 42 points

He will be sacked much earlier than ranieri

Leicester needs better

I m down and I m losing it

Too slow to play in Mahrez. Had ages. Then his ridiculous shots. He's got potential but a long way off a starter

And we are not Manchester United, Chelsea, Man City. We can't just go spend 90 million on the best players in the world.

agree with you about gray, but he was a very forward player in s team that somewhat played for a draw and played deep. Did he make the wrong decisions ? Yes but you don't win games by not attacking

Some people need a huge relaity check, all I would suggest is look at United's last 2 games, they've torn opposition in half, struggled to do that today for a good 70 minutes until a lapse in concentration led to a goal. Much better performance than last years, these games are free hits, not games we should be expecting to be winning.

And as for someone above claiming we're the worst in the league for using the ball, i gather you haven't seen Watford, Palace, Newcastle, West Ham, Burnley. much worse teams than us.

CALM DOWN FOLKS!!!!

That was me. I believe we are one of the worst teams in the league with the  ball. Never known a team to give it away so much. It's pathetic considering the amount of money we have spent.

Inevitable result and not a hammering but disappointed in the manor in which we lost.

We've become so predictable.

I bet opposition managers see us on the calendar and take the week off - everyone know's our game inside out by now. It very rarely catches people out.

OK So, a game most of us expected not too get too much out of. Disappointed with the way we conceaded the goals, before then we defended very well. The thing is, why did we change from the way we played against arsenal? We showed we are at our best when we take games to the opposition. I love Shakey, but I do think he's still very wet behind the ears when it comes to management and substitutes. Vardy should not have come off for slim.

With regards to Mahrez, amazing player but his decision making is often terrible. Same with Gray, so much potential but today he was playing for himself to get into the team. He needs to learn that if he plays for the team and plays well that's when you give yourself a chance.

Maguire... Well no need to say much, can't wait for Huth and Maguire.

I think James ran out of steam but when we replace him with King it's a slap to the forehead moment for sure.

Slim held the ball well when he came on, shame he didn't have Vardy to feed.

Onwards and upwards, still signs that we have a decent team

Tactically it was an improvement on Arsenal.  Thought we kept our shape well after the substitutions.

Undone by a set piece and the second was offside.

Morgan and Maguire were great at the back.  Some wasteful positions going forward though and some poor decision making by James in the middle at times.

Not really.

At Arsenal we looked as though we were going to get something throughout and were a threat.

The amount of flack Shakespeare takes for decision making is crazy. Against Arsenal, there was loads of whining that he didn't bring on an extra CM to prevent being overrun in the middle. He does that change today, and the same people are complaining that it's too negative. They complained against Atletico Madrid that when Morgan got injured, he didn't take off his last centre back and put Gray on. Against Spurs, he brings off a CB for Gray and the same people complain it leaves us too open. We were playing at Old Trafford, against a team that cost about half a billion pounds, and we've completely frustrated them for the bulk of the game. Man U have hosed two teams away from home already this season, we went to their ground and frustrated them massively.

Their goal was a badly defended set piece, and if Gray had not left Rashford so much space for the give and go which lead to the corner we might have held on for a very creditable draw. No help from the officials either, that offside Fellani goal is a joke, and you know it's just a result of all the TV pundits wanking over that Arsenal goal last week, they are desperate for the "big" teams to get a load of favourable calls.

Our passing under pressure is atrocious. With a bit more composure we'd have a chance in games like this if we could just lessen the opportunities the other side gets! Perhaps a question of training

Right oh mate. You should be manager of Brighton, you have them in the champions league.

Gray has shown today where his best position is for us - the bench.

I was going to say the south coast with a nice big wedge in our pocket!

Funnily enough unlike many on here, cutting inside and trying to strike past the best goalkeeper in the world over and over and ****ing over again isn’t going to impress me.

id take a strong in defence and someone who can cross it in Albrighton over that all day!

United won because of our defensive lapses, they're no better than they were last year...if you sit off teams like that for 90 minutes eventually you'll get punished, we lapsed in concentration and gifted them the goals...we can't continually concede possession like that....defensively we were okay but that's all we did...I'm really disappointed because they really aren't all that...we could have made more of that game.

Lukaku is ****ing wank, how he shits 20 goals in is beyond me...we didn't press them enough....really dissapointed today...really.

RE Gray, there were a lot of good things from him, positive first touch, beating people, driving forwards and making things open up but when it comes to decision, wrong decision every time and always weighted towards being selfish rather than un-selfish, he needs to watch the recording and be asked "what would you do next time you're in this situation". If his reply is "I'd shoot" then phone Bournemouth and then a Taxi, I'll pay the fare.

Agreed, it was tactically more naive than against first half Arsenal

I gather you think we have spent a lot of money??? I suggest you take a look at other teams spending. We're no longer champions mid table performances like this at top 4 sides are to be expected so get used to it. Did you really expect to get something out of today?

This needs to be put into perspective people.

Exactly. Their team cost well over 10 times the price we paid for ours.

Firstly, United are a very good team, they'll go close this year.

However, we sat 10 yards too deep and invited them on to us.

We were undone by a set piece, but that last sub was shocking.

Albrighton has already gone off, he'd be the main supply to Slimani.

Everyone said Vardy did nothing, but he had no service. We were 1 down at that point, James for Slimani would have made sense and Vardy could look for scraps from flick ons.

Although the scoreline wasn't humiliating, the performance was.

We got lucky that it wasn't a few more, and I'm a huge fan of Gray, but that ball to Mahrez at 0-0 was criminal.

Shakespeare is very naive tactically, I don't see a finish better than 10th.

We won the league 18 months ago, now we're managed by a number two and a League 1 manager.

I didn't expect us to win today, but that was dreadful.

If you don't agree, fine, a forum is all about opinions, but tell me why I'm wrong without giving me shit for it.

Also for a counter attacking side our passing was dreadful 69% passing accuracy

No I didn't. I thought we would get hammered which clearly we didn't but the way we are with the ball needs to improve. We can't string two passes together.
