Man Utd are a much better side than the Arsenal one we played. Man Utd are even way better IMO than a full strength Arsenal.

Hanan96 Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 Leicester were lucky today. Mata's goal wasn't offsides. might conceded many goal had that goal weren't disallowed. at first half, almost unable to attack. nobody could hold up the ball nor winning aerial duels. Iborra might be handy here in okazaki place. too bad he's still injured second half were bit improvement, at least there were some attack. unfortunately, mahrez somehow tried to shot from very narrow range, twice or three times. worse, nobody made attempt to run to the ball. at least he should done a low cross with somebody running towards the ball Gray need more chances. He's got poor decision making when goes to the middle, but good in wide areas. His decision making might be improved had he played few more minutes againts lesser team, like 20-30 minutes.

DatfoxesKid23 Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 from what I have seen I will summerize get drinkwater and iborra back ramp up the passing acuracy james and ndidi were dreadfull gray was selfish untill towards the very end try a 4-3-3 it seems to be a good option Like I said in the pre-match thread we need to hold possesion shakespeare is not good tacticly And we need to practise set peice defending
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 Man U will win the league! that was impressive, Like the AF times..

Suzie the Fox Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 I think we were all expecting a loss here, even the most optimistic of us all. We had some good play and there were some positives to take away from today. We didnt lose 4-0 thats a biggie for me! Our defence was not as shit as people anticipated. Maguire was superb as always and Wes had a good game. Mahrez has still not downed tools and again a great key player today, only 5 more days to go and we may just keep this guy till at least January. Dont get me wrong i am sad we lost, but hey it was against an on form Man U team at Old Trafford! Who IMO are probably favorites to win the league at this point. At least we have Chelsea away next Saturday to look forward too

Hammo Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 No gripe about the final score. We defended valiantly - Maguire just gets better and better and Wes was rock solid- but were comprehensively outplayed from first whistle to last by very strong opponents. Annoyingly every one of our counterattack opportunities was butchered by poor decision making. We need to be stronger and tougher in our midfield tackling. James is not the answer, though Okazaki and Ndidi were no better than him today. Gray has great talent. He has a lot to learn but he will become a gem. We have to keep him.

Could have had Mendy in for Okazaki, but just in front of the back 4, and Slim up instead of Vardy. Might have invited them on to us more than we did though.

Today he was poor but it's the first really poor game he's had since he arrived. James I don't think has ever shown that he can be a top player in the prem like King I think we have outgrown him unless we are happy being an average prem side. Good squad player but not a starter if we want to challenge top 6-8 which is where we need to be aiming right now
Hollism Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 Anyone still watching? How the **** was Chris Foy a professional referee?

Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 Not that arsed. Didn't expect anything and we didn't get anything. Played well and didn't embarrass themselves and that was all I was looking for today,
fazzyfox Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 I'm not sure as they've barely mentioned it but I think there's a program called "Premier League Tonight" on BT next!
trabuch Posted 26 August 2017 Posted 26 August 2017 Who's that scouse twat on BT at the moment. If that is a ref expert I worry for football. Fellaini wasn't offside because Morgan played the ball??? That's absolute rubbish.
Webbo Posted 26 August 2017 Author Posted 26 August 2017 This tw@t on BT. Wes Morgan deliberately played the ball?! It got a deflection off his knee? Surely Fellani was offside when the Man U player played the ball?
