The extra €4.5m, from what I'm led to believe, was part of his contract that stated he would be paid that amount if he was not sold. Because they no longer have to pay that, they can add €4.5m back to their books, if that makes sense.

When the camera flashes lets all argue that we only missed stopping by 14 seconds even though we were then involved in a crash with the car coming in a sideways direction who went through the lights on green. Rules are there for a reason. Anybody arguing that it is anything other than a monumental cock up by the club are kidding themselves. Award for the most stupid post in this thread is yours by quite a margin.
SheppyFox Posted 7 September 2017 Posted 7 September 2017 Are they discussing the situation on the debate? That sky sports thing?

Many have been let off with readings of 38mg ... but many have been fined and banned for readings of 36mg.

Is January 2018 still classed as 2017 because it's rounded down? No of course not. The deadline was 01:00:00 and we made the transfer on 01:00:14, so it didn't meet the deadline, it's as simple as that. As an aside - In cases when time is rounded for ease of display, e.g. A goal score on 15:01 would mean the goal was scored in the 16th minute, displaying 16'. The point is not the rounding up or down... I was trying to say the time was STILL 23.00! albeit 23.00;14 and i think thats the part where its just pedantic and stupid. Had it been 23.01, it would be a little more bearable (since it was no longer 23.00) Im not saying its wrong im just saying its ridiculously retarded.

This isn't about two clubs sneaking one past the deadline. If you want to be zero tolerance then 00-00 should be deemed late as it could be a millisecond over the limit. Silva's punishment of virtually being suspended for half a season does not fit the crime. Silva is innocent.

Itsthejoeker Posted 7 September 2017 Posted 7 September 2017 rules are rules when Chelsea score a winner 14 seconds after extra time should be over?

Come on Rodney you're like a angry traffic warden "rules is rules".The point people are trying to make is are we at fault for the delay and if we are then 14 seconds is a low enough amount to give us some leeway These kind of points are used in courts up and down the country daily. "Chill have a sandwich"
