Wheres the money going?

I know wages are massive but we have a net spend of £9 million this window.The money from the champions league has not been spent. Do you think we have 50-100 million to invest in players/stadium etc... or do you think that money has gone?

Think it's 36 million  ???

Add in the extra salaries (take off the ones that have left) and we probably still have the CL money burning a hole in our back pocket).

vichai publically stated that all money generated by the club would stay in the club so we are in a v strong position and it will clearly help any plans for expansion of the ground to have this money available

no doubt someone will post the answer  Belgium or ascot at some point !!

Think we've had a net spend of £19 million (Iborra 12, Inneacho 25, Maguire 17 - Drinkwater 35).  Still leaves us with a fair few million in the bank.  It's difficult to get value for money nowadays but i think we are going about it in the right way.  Chucking silly money around on players can be dangerous.

WBA have had a great window.  If we finish aboe them then we will have had a good season!

Wasn't our pre-tax profit last year around the £20mill mark?

How on earth could we be sat on £100million.

I don't think people understand how much money the club spends.

Plus another  £22mil for Silva and another couple mil for Jakupovic.

Our net spend is well over £30mil and we've spent the most of any side outside the top 7.

Not sure where this £6mil net spend crap has come from?

I was always under the impression the owners used the club as a vehicle to promote the king power brand worldwide. As such the club was ran at a loss or certainly made them very little (comparatively) dough.

But after they cleared our debts, kept ticket prices as the lowest in the leauge and delivered us such good times on the pitch I don't think anyone would grumble to much if they were taking more money out.

Not as if our owners didn't plough millions into the club before we were famous! Anyway I don't want us to be a club that throws money around, after all we won the league with a squad worth half a Stones transfer fee!

Agreed, but at the same time we wasted last summer, we had an opportunity, a platform to progress, build on success and we fucked it up, yep, i've brought it up again, it was a whole year ago and we've done better this summer I admit hopefully we can right our wrongs this season but I fear we missed a massive opportunity last summer/season.

Could be worse we could go incognito down the brown envelope route and bribe our way to success like the 'bigger' clubs have done through the years... Fergie time, dodgy decisions etc

Arsenal owner has said he did not give a **** about trophies,arsenal was winning business and thats all he wanted

same mentality for all other owners i am sure

i will not ever believe these bilionieres loving football,maybe they do,but when it comes to business its business in first place

I just read in The Times it's a net spend of £5.9 million but I don't think they've added in Silva. So it would be around £28 million which isn't bad.

I guess it's wages, Slimani and Musa who must be on good deals didn't move on. Our poor window last year has probably shackled us somewhat.

Even without Silva it's not £6mil.

Silva £22mil

Iborra £12mil

Maguire  £17mil

Ihanenacho  £25mil

Jakupovic £2mil

Out = £78mil

Drinkwater  £35mil

Lawrence £7mil

Dialer  £2mil

In = £44mil

Net spend = £34mil

Even without Silva it's still £12mil.
