If Duda played for your club, you would sooooo sing the Camptown Races song.

Duda Duda Day.

Duda Duda Day.

You can't polish a turd.

You could change the personnel, obviously get Maguire and Vardy in there, but we have a real problem in the centre of midfield.

Call it a 523 or a 3412 or 3421.

We can't line up with a 2 at the back with full backs that spend more time attacking than defending. 3 at the back gives our wing backs license to attack it means that forwards like Rashford Sterling and Vardy don't have to play a wide role and Kane has players close to him, whether it is Ali behind and Rashford or Vardy alongside him, or Kane in his own with Ali and Rashford/Vardy dropping a bit deeper but getting forwards to support him.

With3 at the back one of them will carry the ball forwards Stones/Maguire allowing the midfield to push up and not have to dictate the play from the back leaving a massive gap between midfield and the forwards.

Jones Cahill Stones is so bad I thought for a minute you were having a laugh.

Yeah, right on. That Maguire only plays for a small club and only cost £15m and isn't involved in any adverts for face or hair care, so don't pick him....

I was being realistic about who Southgate would pick/making a slight tweak to the formation with players on the pitch.

If I wasn't over 40, I think I'd struggle to comprehend that Hoddle has ever had anything to do with football.

It's strange really. I thought Hoddle was a wonderfully gifted player, a bit of a genius at times.

When I first started work, if you were the best at something you were known as the 'Glenn Hoddle' of it. I was the 'Glen Hoddle' of selling extended guarantees :D

A shame he turned out to be such a bell cheese of a pundit

I'm presuming that we will qualify for Russia, but I can only also presume that we will be tepid and lacklustre throughout that tournament only for the FA to appoint another yes man once GS has resigned.

Got it in one. Mind you it will likely be one stage further than the Republic of Ireland.

They are all such goal greedy selfish players.

They want the wonder goal in their YouTube highlights.

If we concede and draw, they will be to blame.

Ain't It great how this second half is that we have been counter attacking yet leave the guy who has played in a team that uses counter attacking as a sole tactic for the last 5 years on the bench
