You might have. How would you necessarily know that the "honourable nice man" you've just met isn't a traveler? It's not exactly stamped in their forehead.

And I had a couple of youths in a traveller site liberally smear my response car with fence paint and dog shit whilst I was treating one of theirs.

And a couple of them offered to trim my old mum's leylandii (only one tree, mind) and they simply lopped the top 3 feet off and ripped her off for a hundred quid.

I don't think it's that unpopular an opinion.

 

But I like the use of the phrase "shot on SITE" as that's where they usually are.
