Whether he’s allowed to train with the squad or not, he should still be in peak physical condition come January.

He won't be game sharp though but let's hope you are correct.

 

Judging by our record recently in getting players up to speed I hold out little optimism though, Iheanacho looks about a stone heavier than he was and we are told Iborra despite playing 90 minutes two weeks ago still isn't fit enough to start.

This is a joke and I'm completely fed up of it.

 

Shakey didn't want Drinkwater sold, this was done without his blessing, and the club said they could get Silva as a replacement. They failed to do that, but they'll end up sacking Shakey in 2 games anyway.

Why bring Silva over if it hung on the Drinkwater transfer. We clearly intended to complete the Silva deal otherwise we were wasting his time.

 

 

 

 

 

I don't really understand this, we wanted siva last January, and at that time we had DD, so why hang on until DD is sold we should have just done the deal as we knew that DD was going anyway, so we should have done the deal earlier, however if DD hadn't gone then siva and DD in midfield awesome.

This has been going on long enough for City to have assessed options as to what they would do if the transfer request was rejected.  If not there is true mismanagement at the club.  I suspect they simply have no options left and don't want to admit they have messed up big time.

a common sense thing would be to fine us, saying £1/2 million and give us a warning to not be late with future transfers and let the transfer go through, 

 

but its FIFA, the same FIFA who award Qatar the World Cup , a world cup that will take place during their 40c summer

Totally Our fault numptys that blame FIFA are way off line, had ages to sign him feel sorry for Silva.

Lets face it we are in a mess from  rudkin to Shakey.

I fear for the rest of the season woefully inadequate in midfield and tactically inept.

Back room staff not upto the job.

The better players for sure will want to leave in January.

It's about other teams more than us. How can they let us register a player who could potentially mean we stay up and someone else goes down? We wouldn't be happy if it was another team.

true but its kinda of hypocritical of FIFA to reject our appeal when in a sense the same thing happen with John Guidetti and a loan move to Celtic from Man City a few years back. 

 

though there are probably more factors to the whole deal why it was late than we all know tbh

Can't remember.... but, the deal that Sporting had before that went tits up. It was argued when they went to arbitration that letting him train with the team was a sign of the other team activating the contract with Sporting. So I do wonder if it's our way of covering ourselves if we choose to pull the plug on the deal.
