Seems that way, we are a revolting football club.

Rukdin is probably the sort of person that thinks he could pull the plug on the deal and then go back in January with a lower offer. lol

Terrible news for club and player.Surprised just how inflexible FIFA have been you would have thought Silva could train with the club at the very least.

Anyway we are left short of class in midfield and no idea where this leaves the transfer.

Surely him going off at half time is acceptance that he's not good enoug. Honestly rather have Amartey, N'didi, Amartey trio. Just make sure Amartey isn't asked to track any runners.

Amartey at CM is also a grim prospect, 2 more of him even more so! But yes King should be got rid of in Jan, he's just not up to iy.

We have Ndidi, Iborra and James, hopefully we can make it through to Jan with them

He ultimate responsibility was and is down to Leicester City though.  We have nobody to blame but ourselves.

Owners will be considering options, not just in relation to transfer, which is dead until January, but they are not afraid to act when things are not right. Concern has to be this is influencing whats going on onto the pitch, which will now continue. January will be to late to act.

Be brave Top. Time to clear the nest and hope we can rebuild to stay up. NP as Director of football??

Good god, we would have more passes going out for throw ins than to other players.

It was to be expected, our incompetence has well and truly bitten us on the ass, heads need to be rolled, I cannot imagine the Thais will be very happy, and you would hope they are reflecting and getting ready to bring in competent individuals.

The club and FIFA are a ****ing joke, feel for the player, and if he's got any common sense he will try and get out of the deal, but unlikely, but if I was him I'd get out of the club, who have basically ****ed his World Cup up.

The worst thing is the clowns who have made us a worse side, after spending millions will still have their cushy jobs, with no consequences.

Rant over

We're going to need to look at changing formation. 352 would be my choice. I did think Silva might be able to make 4-4-2 work again with that cutting edge we've been missing in the midfield.

I think we'll try and cancel the deal to be honest.

I do hope not, that would be very shortsighted.  Surely the best outcome here is to confirm he will be registered 1st January, and suck it up.

Up until now I've been thinking we ought to change shape/formation at least until Silva signs; who would possibly be able to make 4-4-2 work again. Now he's not signing, I think we need to be looking at a different shape.

'Again' It hasn't worked in such a long time. Ndidi is not Kante so therefore it cannot work to even nearly the same extent.

This whole saga really has pissed me off. It absolutely wreaks of an amateurish set up and it's all compounded by our totally lacklustre performances from our nonexistent midfield.

im a positive person when it comes to my club but there is fvcking nothing at all positive about this sorry mess.

An explanation of some sort from the club would be welcome but I'm not even expecting that considering the obvious shower of shite that's running our recruitment.

Fvcking farcical fiasco

tbh the club as a whole has been a shambles since we won the league

I do wonder if we have gone about this the wrong way, ie the right way. We have kept a dignified silence  and not played it out in the press and not commented on it, as is proper.

Imagine if it was Mourinho or Ferguson or even Warnock they would have been bellyaching every chance they get, calling FIFA a disgrace highlighting the injustice and ridiculousness and calling the whole thing what it is, an absolute farce over fourteen seconds. They would be demanding a full review of the whole process, pointing the finger at the FA, FIFA, Sporting, the telecommunications company. They would have made it as embarrassing as possible for everyone involved and kept it in the public eye every chance. Really put pressure on FIFA and made sure everyone knew that if it didn't go their way they would do carry on in the same manner.  I have no idea if that would have made any difference, but you feel like if there had more press behind it, more pressure from all quarters we might have got a better result. It also would have distracted from the appalling onfield performances.

We have,as we normally do, gone about our business professionally and in a dignified manner and it feels like we have been punished for doing so.

Can only console myself with the fact that he reportedly is injured and the likely-hood that we wouldn't have played him anyway before February, as he would need to be bought up to the "rigours of playing in the Premiership". Silva can count himself very lucky, he's on paid leave until January and will take none of the blame for the sh1t we present on field upto the time he rolls out for us.

Difficult to lay the blame for this fcuk up, but as far as accountability goes it has to be Rudders (due to his position rather than guessed actions/non actions), probably a bit much for him to do along with his Horse racing functions as well..
