Whoever Fuched this up needs sacking from the club and FIFA are just a bunch of corrupt arrogant fuching Cnuts how can fifa say they are there to look after the welfare of professional footballers they’ve put Silva in a footballing limbo, like people have said if this was Manure or any other bigger club it would have been sanctioned and the fans none the wiser  !!

I feel really sorry for Silva just now wondering if we’ll sign him January 1st now ??

Rudkin needs to man up and take responsibility...offer your resignation.

I've met him a handful of times and he is not the type to just hand in a resignation and be done with it. He'll never get a job like this again...

No excuses. And they can't blame it on some work experience youth sending the fax late either.

This is the fault of the people doing the negotiating and making the big decisions. We should never have left it that close to the deadline.

It was an accident waiting to happen. If we are that pathetic a club now that we can't sign decent players without selling another, then we should never have sold Drinkwater, certainly not on deadline day.

Four months of sideways passing from midfield then.

Silva can't train til January so he's not going to be match fit for January is he.

May as well sack Rudkin now and get a competent DoF in. Should never have allowed us to be left so short in midfield. Shocking from all involved on deadline day. We don't have suitable people in these key operational roles.

Let's hope he enjoys watching a second-rate team playing sh*te football, because he's going to be spending a lot of time in the stands at the KP.

I think you've stated that 3 times in this thread and started another thread about it. Do you actually have any real information on the situation to back-up this desire?

Personally I find it perplexing that FIFA can effectively stop Silva from working and probably from representing his country. In these days of European labour laws and worker's rights I find that hard to believe. He's either our player or Sportings and if he's ours he must then be able to play for us, if he can't he should still be sporting's. He didn't agree to a contract knowing that he wouldn't be able to play for 6 months.

For those talking about relegation and demise: sort yourselves out. Neither of these "possibilities" are related to signing Silva. If we hadn't tried to sign him what would the difference in situation be?

We know the facts of the situation, for me the man at the top takes responsibility and that's Rudkin.

Terry Robinson was sacked for less.

We have become fixated on this 14 seconds business but isn't that just the club's version of events ? Has it been confirmed elsewhere? I'm the last one to be an apologist for the cess pool that is FIFA but if there are more significant problems with the submission than what we've been told then perhaps some heads should roll

He will be allowed to train, we've opted against that whilst this was under dispute.

Ohh that's alright then. At least when Jan comes he'll have some level of fitness.

'If' he is responsible  (Innocent until proven Guilty), his future may not be in his hands.  King Power did not get where is is today by retaining numpties in high decision making positions.

If Dean Hammond can rock up and play for the U23s, put Silva in there. Checkatrade Trophy glory here we come

Free agent, not sure we can play him in the U23's

Forget moaning about who’s fault it is.... a man now can’t do his job because of a late document... it’s further confirmation that the game we loved has died. The only loser in this scenario is Silva...it’s pathetic, truly and utterly pathetic.

Serious amounts of arse licking can keep even the most incompetent of people in positions despite cockups and glaring inadequacies.

the whole thing has been a farce where the easiest thing in the world and the most sensible thing to do would just be let the player join Leicester but why can't things just run like that. Absolute shambles but Leicester should have registered well before the deadline and Rudkin needs to step up, be a man and admit it was his fault!

It's shocking mate, the lad is class as well. We're paying about £200 per fan to watch Andy King instead for half a season. We're all owed big time!!!

Any chance of an official statement from the Club?

More likely that they will just leave it to Shakey to face the questions at the next press conference!

Disgraceful if no official statement is forthcoming.
