You passed the test..."Vokes" is the man, well spotted...you can join the scouting staff...

But...I still want to see us consolidate, a Top half PL position, before, has many are doing, chasing down A covetted European spot...So far after winning the title, we are Light years away, from realising, even getting a tap at it... For me lets see if we can realise, and turn over decent performances, that earns a club the right to 1st seen to chase top 6-8....Evertons last 10yr history proves how damn difficult it is to even touch those boundaries of European qualification. Stoke lost 7-2 yesterday...they are nearer, than we are... Of course it's not easy but the difference between 6/8 and 9 to 17 is not that great. I see little point in starting the season aiming for survival / 17th and with the right management across all aspects of the club, the PL cash plus whatever extra the owners pump in a 6 to 10 place or cup win are achievable.
Wymsey Posted 15 October 2017 Posted 15 October 2017 (edited) Sean Dyche woukd be a 'bargain' move imo. A cheap deal but he'd provide the stability that hopefully Shakespeare will provide anyway and thus won't need him in the future. Edited 15 October 2017 by Wymeswold fox

See we 2 are closer than one thinks...6-10, is a reasonable target, and Our performances have to Match that ambition, At the moment, or how we have as a club performed, as been well below anything WBA, STOKE, BURNLEY, and Everton have shown, so achieveable ambitions are being measured against the reality of our situation, seen over the last 10 months, on and off the pitch.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 October 2017 Posted 15 October 2017 (edited) What price Sean Dyche? 450m individual pounds. Round ones. Edited 15 October 2017 by Trav Le Bleu
jonah Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 I think Sean Dyche would be a bad move. ..very much as Ian Holloway was .
dylanlegend Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 I like Dyche, similar to Pearson Very underrated Without him Burnley would be a struggling Championship team His style of play is also very similar to our so he would hit the ground running if we gerrimmin.
sm1 Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Dyche will be ok if our aim is to be a lower end PL team with a good cup run once in a while, no different to Allardyce (even their names sound the same). Considering the 2nd rate signings we made after winning the PL title, I wouldn't be surprised if we opted for him, if/when Shakey gets the boot.
norwichfox Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Wouldn't really want him, even though he's probably somewhat better than we currently have...we must aim higher from foreign shores....such as MO'N from Eire

The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 he is a bit of a geezer, you'd have a pint with him but i'm not sure about bringing him in. We need a bit of ambition, i don't think Dyche is the answer. He's definitely in the mold of a Big Sam, will perform beyond his means at a smaller club but can't really see him having the answer when he actually has a bit to spend
Stadt Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 I don't want him bringing his small time inferiority complex into our massive club

Suzie the Fox Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Sorry but its no from me. I'd like to think with have bigger aspirations than Sean Dyche.
MrsJohnMurphy Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 When I hear him speak I always think middle management, so it's a no from meSent from my Lenovo A1010a20 using Tapatalk
fuchsntf Posted 18 October 2017 Author Posted 18 October 2017 Well we see thr price now...In the top 3 bookies list.... Aint football funny..... I'd have him, ....but Burnley has been good for and to him. What hes set up at Burnley, is stronger than what we are presenting and have to offer at the moment

Stadt Posted 18 October 2017 Posted 18 October 2017 Sean Dyche is a middle lane driver, don't want him anywhere near our prestigious club.
Carl the Llama Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 The good news is he's easily daunted by relatively small sums of money so he should be easy to buy.
NorthfieldsFox Posted 27 April 2018 Posted 27 April 2018 BUMP sources have a told me talks have started and he has bought a house near the Langtons this week he will Be our next manger

He could just be moving from n northants to s leics with his bumper new Burnley contract under his belt. Edited 27 April 2018 by st albans fox
