urban.spaceman Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Thanks for the last 9 years. Thank you for: League One title 2 painfully unlucky Play-off semi-finals Championship title The Great EscapeThe Premier League Title Sevilla at the King Power, 14th March 2016 - the best game I have ever been to. Thank you for your service. Good luck for the future.
Beechey Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Gutted for him, seems a genuine and great guy. I'm sure he'll move on from this and do well in his career.
MPH Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 i'd like him to be retained as our number 2 but i doubt he will....

walkerleeds Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Shame some (most, actually) of our fans won't look at the bigger picture and what he did for our club. The bloke should still be spoken about in 50 years for his influence in our success. Thanks for everything Craig.
Wolfox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Rough old business being a football manager…. Very few human reactions to his sacking…. Main thread is simply full of the “wahoo, he’s gone…. Good riddance” brigade I find it all quiet unsavory… a shame for him, but, it appears to be the way the world of football works… good of luck to him
rn9013 Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 I agree with his sacking, however in my mind he'll always be remembered for that night against Sevilla. I will never experience that feeling again, truly magical. Thanks Shakey.

I didn't say he would coach Barcelona, but he can get a lower-league team to manage, or another league like Belgium. He is just not premier league caliber (which not many are, even the biggest names struggle in this league)
foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Been a very big part of our most successful era. Thank you Craig!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Yeh and to all those of you who don't actually exist but retain existential potential through my rhetorical construction of you as unnamed addressees out there in the virtual ether which allows me to make sanctified, self aggrandising posts which cast me on the winning side of an imaginary argument we never had without actually disagreeing with a real life person, who always said you hated him and are just pretending to be Leicester supporters for some reason while secretly hoping we lose every game thereby making your hatred of a failing manager pretty irrational i hope you realise that I'm a better person, supporter and, most importantly, ft poster than you.
desertfox2 Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 We have lost a really good coach here by giving him the managers job in the 1st place.....Piece by piece everything that made us successful is being chipped away at. The managers appointment needs to be a top class one.
STUHILL Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 I don't think the owners were that keen on giving him the job but he forced their hand with the stunning turnaround. I think it's the right decision as I do believe we need a fresh start and a new chapter. Trying to relive the old successes with the same players and formation was only going to take us so far again and is now looking tired and one dimensional. Completely new backroom staff too please. We have some real talent in the squad and we need a forward thinking manager who wants to make us a genuine top 8 force
Vince Vega Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 It was always my biggest fear, giving him the job permanently. There were always doubts over his abilities longer term, especially after the Spurs game. Rising from a bloody good coach to manager meant there was never going to be a possibility of him stepping back into coaching here, if it all went tits up.
dylanlegend Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Hopefully he will join NFP in the new setup. Lets be honest he won't be offered a manager role anywhere so what's he got to lose?

Rick and Morty fans be like
lgfualol Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Wish him the best. Wish he never took the job so we would still have him in the coaching staff.

ultrafox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Dear Craig thank you for your part in giving all of us Leicester fans the biggest football experience ever. We wont forget you. You are a Leicester legend. Best wishes for the future.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Good thread. Shakespeare helped achieve an awful lot for our club over the years.
