dannythefox Posted 5 November 2017 Posted 5 November 2017 Let’s just try and keep the goal difference good, try and hit them on the break and defend like hell.

I just hope we play well and don't try to defend for 90 minutes. Corrected for you.

DelBoy73 Posted 5 November 2017 Posted 5 November 2017 Irrelevant fixture for us. Citeh are rampant, hoping for a clean sheet would be delusional, we won't prevent them from scoring. If we come back from that game being beaten by only one goal down, that will be a tremendous achievement.
teblin Posted 5 November 2017 Posted 5 November 2017 It's a tough ask, how ever they do play a high line at times, so I'm sure we'll get a chance or 2. We beat them last year when we were pants, they are much better than last year but I believe we are too.
WigstonWanderer Posted 5 November 2017 Posted 5 November 2017 Hopefully they'll come out all Guardiola big-bollocks like last time, with the same result.
whetstonefox Posted 5 November 2017 Posted 5 November 2017 As long as we give it our all I don't care what the score is. If we play well I can see it being similar to the 5-2 Arsenal game, lots of chances but them being clinical. Just got to enjoy it, not that many years ago we were welcoming teams like Colchester worried how we would beat them...and failing!

DatfoxesKid23 Posted 5 November 2017 Posted 5 November 2017 Leicester should not sit back as man city will just score anyway but instead to try to over load the midfield by putting three in midfield and getting the wingers to stay close to the midfielders. This way we can pick up the ball from our half of the pitch and launch gray, mahrez and vardy. the man city defence isn't that good and we need to take advantage. this would be my lineup.
st albans fox Posted 5 November 2017 Posted 5 November 2017 I agree with chilwell I/o fuchs to try and cope with sterlings pace. I also recall last seasns fixture where we played slim and vards which was quite a surprise - worked out well though ......

Since our promotion of all the big name teams we have played they seem to struggle with us the most.Even away at the Etihad in May with nothing to play for and a depleted squad we could have snatched a draw. The recent upturn in our results wont have gone unnoticed by them and if we were to turn them over it would start to ask questions of Pep. He'll be out to make a big impression on this game so I just couldnt imagine any complacency on their part.

Nooooo you get shot for making statements like that! I do quite like that, go big or go home! Although judging by today where they played with 6 in the middle at times, we will have a 5 man defense and our midfield will be more or less non existent.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 6 November 2017 Posted 6 November 2017 We'll beat these lot. They are dog sh*t. Up the foxes

That’s probably the conservative / sensible approach. If we played that I’d argue that we’d sit deep and hope that Ndidi and Amartey nullify Silva and De Bruyne. Problem is if we sit too deep we are just asking for the inevitable. I also have reservations around Amartey given he’s not played much this year and when he has it’s been at right back. But I like the idea and formation as it would give us some steel in the middle of the park yet keep us threatening on the break. Be interesting to see what Puel does. Last year we beat them due to a fast start.
Wolfox Posted 6 November 2017 Posted 6 November 2017 Let’s not get too grumpy when we get thumped…. They will romp the league leaving a trail of destruction behind them…
