And every game is relevant, particularly as you yourself said "Puel can use this fixture to fine-tune our defence and see how it deals with one of the absolute best attack in the world". Ultimately if this Club were to become embroiled in a relegation battle again or even found itself back in the Championship we wouldn't be differentiating about who the points were dropped against - only our total. On the other hand, If we fell short by three perhaps we could say well ignore the loss to Man City because it didn't count? Relegation fodders never gather points against top 6 teams while the middle-half table teams hardly perform better; if we ever get ourselves once again in a relegation fight, we would be looking at an hypothetical poor record against the second tier squads. Anyway, if we avoid a battering from this game it will be a great result imho.

Absolutely.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 6 November 2017 Posted 6 November 2017 We are more than capable of upsetting the odds as a club. Whatever happens, I hope we don’t shy away, get into them and attempt to stop them from getting into a rhythm. Make them uncomfortable.
somebum Posted 6 November 2017 Posted 6 November 2017 This is the game the wheels come off man city title challenge. 4-2 Leicester
Gazza M Posted 6 November 2017 Posted 6 November 2017 It will be a case of the famous "get in to them, fu*k em up!" approach. I can't help but feel we will get ripped to shreds if we go 4-4-2 and allow our full backs to go forward too much. Man City like last time will push up leaving space in behind, so hopefully we can capitalise. I would think maybe 3-4-3. Not sure which personnel yet as too far away to the match yet.
Foxes1 Posted 6 November 2017 Posted 6 November 2017 If there is one team I would like us to beat this season it would be these upstarts what makes them think they could buy the league.

I hope they have a off day As others have already said we need about 17 of their main players to come back from the internationals injured to give us a chance oh well here’s hoping up the Foxes

ARM1968 Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 We will derail the powder blues and pep up the title race a bit. Heard it here first, second or whatever. 2-1 to us.

lennybhoy Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 Leicester 8/1 at home in Paddy powers...I for one will be having a nibble...pay for your Christmas boys???
notnow john Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 Looking forward to this, I'm expecting Puel to come up with a cunning plan to give the unbeatables bloody nose,

Not when I know how our defense is and from what I saw of their attack. There is no team from the top 6 against whom we didn't ship at least two goals. I bet a beer that they'll score at least two.
Hammo Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 The two teams with the longest current unbeaten records in the Premier League. Got to be a draw.
Milo Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 Will be taking my abacus... ...hopes aren't high, tbh
sm1 Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 Man City in the 2nd half didnt look anything special against Arsenal. If they play like that and we take our chances, because we will have chances against their defence, we could scrape a draw. 2-2.
leicesterseddon Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 Draw is the best we can hope for I feel; likely result is a defeat although I think we should be good enough to avoid a dicking at home. I'm struggling to think what the best team would be although it probably involves Okazaki starting. They will have loads of possession I'm sure but I'll be very disappointed if we just sit back and let them build attacks. If Iborra/Maguire/Morgan have a bad game then we'll be struggling tbh

Agree.. we have players that have beaten them in the past Fuchs,Simpson,Morgan,Schmeichal,Vardy, Mahrez et al..they will not be intimidated by facing them...play our own game...dont be gung ho but if we go out there with a negative attitude, we will just be a punchbag ...Sane and Jesus are top class additions but are they better than Athletico Madrid ? a team that reached 3 Champions league finals, they didnt embarass us.... if we get the first goal and with the crowd behind us who knows

justfoxes Posted 7 November 2017 Posted 7 November 2017 I’ve got a good feeling about this game if our internationals come back unscathed and raring to go and hopefully Iborra is fit and if Puel puts out the right squad and the right formation and tactics, plus the fact we’re at home and the crowd at the KP are the Dogs Bollox I think we could take some points from this game Stop De Bruynes passing game and and limit their play then hit them on the break I could see us winning this one but I’ll take the draw as well !! COME ON YOU BLUES !!
Gillies Apprentice Posted 8 November 2017 Posted 8 November 2017 Not sure if it's already been posted , but Otamendi is suspended , so they have to change their line up and/or formation .I sense a typical Leicester turn up with Vardy ,Mahrez and Gray tearing them apart ,a 4-3 repeat of the 1968 FA Cup Replay
