Our last 6 games against them

Leicester 0-1 Man City (bloody Lampard)

Man City 2-0 Leicester

Leicester 0-0 Man City

Man City 1-3 Leicester

Leicester 4-2 Man City

Man City 2-1 Leicester (farcical Mahrez pen)

Mixed bag of results. Hope we become the first team to defeat them in the league.

They look a complete different animal this year. Stones actually looks like a player with a functioning brain and Sterling has improved tenfold under Pep.

I'd take a 0-0. I would honestly rather win the league cup fixture.

This, for me too...

The PL game is a free hit for us. No pressure and everyone expects us to lose. We can play with freedom, give it our best shot and hope for a bit of luck.

If they play a weakened side for the league cup game then we’ve got a real chance of getting to the semies.

Agree, would take a draw and a League Cup win. Although 0-0 is probably the least likely score for this game. Would be very happy with a Desmond!

I'll get my coat! lol

Reading the bluemoon forum , a few on there think that if any team is going to beat them, it’s us.

I can see why they might think that given what we've done to them in the last two seasons but if they turn up then we will struggle to keep them at bay. I just hope we make a good account of ourselves and go for it when the opportunities present themselves. There's absolutely no point trying to park the bus with very little attacking outlet because Man City will find a way through. It'll be intriguing to see Puel's tactics in this game as a defensive setup would be tempting but he's so far shown he's not as pragmatic as his reputation in this division had suggested. I think we need either the same line up vs Everton with Chilwell in there or we bring in Amartey or Dragovic and get an extra body centrally to just cover off some space, we'll give them enough problems with Gray, Vardy and Riyad that we don't necessarily need another striker in there too.

Man City are soft at the back, their fullbacks hovering in the final third to put crosses in. Hard to defend against but vulnerable to counter-attack. Leicester shredded them in this fixture a year ago. Prediction: 4-4 draw with a Vardy hat trick.

Man City have stepped up a gear this season and are looking like title winners. Can see there being five or six goals scored in this match, just hope at least one of them is scored by us

I see a lot of people talking about how bad Manchester City’s defence is, but with respect it’s the second best in the league so can’t be that bad.

In my opinion the best thing Puel can do in this game is defend deep and counter. The only team not to lose to Guardiola’s side this season was Everton and that’s what they did. Wolves also almost beat us the same way. An in-form Manchester City have the tools to pick apart any team who give them space, be it Forest Green or Barcelona. But Leicester know how to counter-attack.

Think Iheanacho will have a point to prove for this one and score.

Okazaki should start with his strength and determination around their defence.

Still don't believe that John Stones has warranted his hefty price tag thus far, prone to mishaps and still questionable in his positional traits.
