I'd call Southampton an abortion of a side but that would imply that someone at some point scored.

Southampton - Won absolutely nothing (okay, one FA Cup) yet sack a manager that led them to 8th place in the top flight and a league cup final.

Why the feck would anyone dislike Southampton? Bizarre unless you are one of these northern supremacist types.

think your comment is very reminiscent of what was thrown at us when we sacked Ranieri, keep 'small' clubs in their rightful place etc etc.

I respect Southampton a lot for what they've managed to do whilst being picked apart every summer and admire their ambition.

"Watford can't play football to save their lives" a fistful of travellers cheques.

I just think they need a new manager ;).

I agree. I never said different.

But my point was, they have ghosted through consistent top flight football without winning much. They spent about 30 years running in the top flight winning a League Cup and an FA Cup. At least neighboring Portsmouth have won the top flight.

Alright point taken, but if Puel's football was as bad as they said and if they really thought he has a glass ceiling credit to them for making the change despite a respectable league pos.

Hoping we'll be the main beneficiaries of it in any case as their new manager looks to be gash!

Palace- definition of tinpot.

Man City - shit club who dont deserve all this success.

Burnley - anti football.

Brighton & Bournemouth - what's the actual difference between these 2?

WBA - most likeable West Midlands club.

Lancashire cloggers with a small-time chip on their shoulder who still play football like its 1890!

Agree with everything here

Southampton are a good club. I quite like them even though we are competitors for the same positions in the league. Identical stadiums and similar sized clubs. What they lack in trophies they make up in being one of the most prolific youth academies in Britain.

I've decided to use pictures instead of a sentence:

Stoke "We specialise in cold, wet Tuesday nights"

Man Cify............ Haven't like them since 1969 and I still don't like them but god am I jealous of the football they're playing right now

Southampton.... A Team that could be Leicester but they play in Red and White

Arsenal............. Lead by a revolutionary who changed the face of English football but has now been caught up by the young pretenders

Spurs................ They've got History I just wish they were

Liverpool............As above but better history

Chelsea............The Team that stole your best ever friend or girlfriend and turned them against you

Everton............They deserve everything that's happened to them this season so far as does Steve Walsh

That's just for starters

So does any team starting Danny Simpson.

West Ham - Most biased team by the media

Liverpool - Feel like football owes them (NB: purely football related and not Hillsborough related incase someone gets the wrong end of the stick)

Man Utd -  The original corporate shitbags

Arsenal - Used to be style over substance, now its neither.

Watford / Brighton / Burnley / Stoke / Palace / West Brom / Bournemouth - No one would even notice if they went down

Huddersfield - Likeable but see above

Posted

Manchester City - the second biggest club in Manchester

Derby and Forest - two small provincial clubs located somewhere between Leicester and Sheffield

Villa - someone to shit on

Newcastle United - the biggest club in Newcastle ( but not the World ) as thought by some of their fans.

Norwich City - nice club with nice fans living in a nice City

Sunderland - we feel for you

Posted

Arsenal are like cassettes, big in the nineties but brittle as **** on the inside and now obsolete.

Posted

Derby - Their Baa is worse than their bite

Man City - All fur coat, no knickers

Arsenal - Knickers (But won't spend money on the fur coat)

West Brom - Pants (Old Paisley skid-marked ones)

Chelsea - The Magpies - Taking players, scouts, staff, youth prospects from other clubs nests in dubious unsavoury manner
