What an assist though!

The weight of the pass to set him up was simply sublime!!

Disappointing to see the Avila resembling the Hammers or Sunderland with thousands heading for home...the team deserve better than that . BTW see Tom Lawrence has scored a cracker for Wales

Yeah, noticed that too. After the electric atmosphere at the start and when Duffy scored, that is a bit surprising.

Lord makes it five...

Wow, if you look up the definition of 'salt in the wounds' it would read 'Bendtner scoring a penalty against you to make it 5-1'....

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this result and even less when Duffy scored.

Awesome performance by Denmark, and Eriksen in particular, when it mattered most.

Fair play Ireland, I thought they did brilliantly to draw in Copenhagen and only a couple of mistakes knocked the wind out of them tonight.

It wasn't a 1-5 game though, the score flattered Denmark a bit.

Irish fans are awesome and a shame they won't brighten the World Cup.

Gutted for Ireland but good news for the footballing world is that little gobshite David Meyler misses out on a World cup and kasper goes to one. Silver linings and all that.
