Kante

Izzett

Drinky

Cambiasso

Lennon

Too early to say Iborra but he looks better and better every game to me. Also, Ndidi has the potential to develop into a great player but he's still learning.

I'd love to have seen Gary McAllister's time here.

I'm really glad Gary Mac is getting plenty of mentions in this thread. I thought he was a beutifully cultured footballer with great vision and range of passing. He also took a mean free kick and was a leader. My kind of player and would definitely be in my top 5 along with:

Muzzy

Parker

Drinky

Kante

Iborra sure looks the real deal though and is a joy to watch sometimes. Calmness personified and always seems to have loads of time on the ball...

I think you are missing some other quality we have had:

J. Lewis

M. Johnson

J. Jarrett

A. Johnson

G. Williams

....only joking! No spot on choice my friend

Yep, God awful. I remember Muzzy having to literally carry him in 02/03 whenever he played.

In my lifetime yes, pretty much what everyone has said

Kante

Izzet

Cambiasso

Drinkwater

Lennon

I suspect if Iborra and Ndidi carry on as they are then they'll most likely get in. But Drinkwater and Kante will never budge.

I hope and pray Silva doesn't turn into Inler 2.0...

I've never seen that on a football field ever. No wonder we lost so much...

Watching Ndidi and Iborra dominate Newcastle's midfield this evening was a thing of absolute beauty. They are both top players and compliment each other brilliantly Ndidi with his athleticism Iborra with his organisation.

Anyway simple question would either of them get in your top Leicester city best ever center mids you have ever seen play live. Mine would be:

1 kante (we literally had the best center mid in the world at city for a season complete madness looking back)

2 Izzet

3 Drinkwater

4 Lennon

5 Ndidi

It's probably a bit early for iborra but he could come in if he keeps this form up for a few more months.

Cambiasso for Lennon or Drinky. Ngolo and izzet top 2 for sure. Ndidi only if he fulfils he potential and doesn't break my heart and leave too soon.

I’ll play

Only including the players I watched

1 Kante - what can I say?

2 - Izzet- supreme player with a great touch, vision iand goals

3- Lennon - the enforcer, did the simple things well and drove the midfield - he, in combination with Izzett, were the top 3 prem central midfielder of its era

4 - McCallister - high quality with time and vision

5 -Iborra - A very early call on this one, but, I just love watching him.  His football brain is off the chart, he’s composed and his key ability is to play the ball really quickly and accurately.

A Nod and a wink to Drinkwater, Draper and Ndidi...  I also loved Mark Davies brief loan spell, he looked like a world beater for us!

I'll go along with what a lot of people have said and say Kante, Drinkwater, Izzett, Lennon and Cambiasso.

Far too early to say Iborra or N'didi yet.

Parker and McAllister well worth mentions though.

From what I've seen :

Gary Mac

Draper

Lennon

Kante

Izzet

Though mentioned this to my Dad who has been following the City

since the 1940s and he just laughed and said Dave Gibson was better

than any of the above. Any of the pensioners on this forum remember Gibson ?
