 Not having a dig but he hasn't done much else then kick a ball past a keeper.  If people are impressed with that.....

And get fouled once

Lets hope it not the usual new manager lift for two months followed by 12 months of purgatory

this clearly isn't new manager bounce.

he already has us playing a considerably prettier style of football - and very well, given the time-frame in which it's happened.

Can you lot imagine how good this side would be if we weren't absolutely hapless both taking and guarding corner kicks? We need a player who can take proper corners, fuching ASAP.

Why doesn't European football feature more trades? We could really do with swapping an extra striker for, say, a mid who can handle corners and free kicks. A trade with Everton makes all the sense in the world, send Iheanacho and Musa for Gylfi, then figure out what to do with Silva in Jan/Feb.

We had good reason to have doubts over the team selection pre-match.  It had the Shakespeare stamp of approval all over it.

Just goes to show it isn't necessarily who you pick, it's how you play them.  It's the mindset, the mentality, the game plan - we didn't have any of those under Shakespeare.

We do now.

Yes, I’ve been a Leicester fan for too long.

I remember when we were 4-0 up at Derby in the O’Neill era and after the game Martin said he would have been more comfortable if we added a fifth! Even he wasn’t taking prisoners. I also saw a game at Prenton Park in the fa cup where Southampton were 3-0 up at half time and coasting. Needless to say Tranmere scored a winner in injury time and won 4-3! It’s not over yet but let’s enjoy it for now.

You're behaving like a melt. There is not a single post from you where you're not bashing him. You've been like this since he was appointed. So yeah I stand by what I wrote.

I was against his appointment, then i was banned for a week, on my own views.

Can't believe we're playing without Iborra, Albrighton and Gray.

Funniest thing iv heard  was the commentator saying Simpson is in the Kyle Walker mould and loves to get forward ??

Does that mean we can get 65M for him ?  :wasyl:

Second half we'll see a much improved performance from Southampton I'd imagine. Hopefully we are solid at the back in the second half!

The job went over shakey’s head unfortunately, Puel is just better all round due to his experience and he has won things

I've not seen Kasper so in charge of his box for a long, long while.

That pass from Kasper to bisect the whole Soton midfield and arrive at the feet of Vardy just outside the 18 yard box was a thing of beauty. It was positively Neueresque.
