We had ten years of mediocrity outside the top flight. Since we've been up we've won the league, played in C/L and are currently in 8th. We have been one of the most talked about clubs in world football. I bloody love this club.

Sorry I expect when we go in front not to concede bullshit goals and be down 2-1. Especially three league games in a row.

What club of our stature in the history of football has conceded so called bullshit goals to lose after going in front?

We've got 1 point out of 12, and the point against Man U was lucky, they should have murdered us. We've lost heavily, at home to a Crystal Palace side that hadn't scored away from home before that match, and away to Watford who were in a terrible patch of form. Today we could have easily conceded 4 or 5. I don't think a bit of moaning is so out of place personally.

I judge game by game, not because we won the league, and I expect to win.

If it’s shit, I say it’s shit, if it’s good, I say it’s good, and then I come on here to share my thoughts with fellow supporters.

I might be wrong but I thought that is what the chat forums are about, discussing the thoughts on a game, transfers, players etc, and some views may bounce around, because the team is inconsistent, one minute they are great, the next they play shite, and comments reflect that, and ok some go to far, but from what I have read, most are quite balanced.

This we are now expectant is thrown around a lot, and personally I don’t see it.

I see fans wether in league 1 or the premier league, don’t like losing, and if they don’t like something vent.

If you want to see what expectant fans look like, and sound like, go on a United forum tonight, after drawing 0-0 with Southampton

We’ve never been a level-headed bunch, but the 15/16 anomaly has turned some fans into entitled children.

If my memory serves me rightly, the fact that we won the league has nothing to do with it.

The forum was pretty much always like this. Win a few and we are brilliant and all of our players are stars...lose a few and we are shite and all our players are donkeys.

I must have brought this issue up years ago. Balance. There is so little of it. I wonder if other football forums are the same? I’d expect so tbh.

Yes you do. One of my fave posters.

Man U aside we've been awful for a couple of weeks.

We shouldn't feel entitled but we also shouldn't be shy about demanding a bit better when we have the seventh/eighth highest wage bill in the division.

No need to panic but current form isn't good and we probably sacrificed a cup semi-final against Bristol City to keep players fresh for the 1 point in 12 we have achieved.

You’re watching the wrong sport or wrong team then

The fact we've had a slump in form was expected. I remember saying after the 4-1 win over Southampton that at some point we would hit a slump in form. Now we're going through this phase, it's a matter of picking ourselves up and going again.

That defines the players and manager. We've got a good squad with more faces coming in, we just need a bit of patience from the fans. Knee jerk reactions, good or bad, isn't healthy. We're Leicester City, not Manchester City.

While there are extreme reactions i have always enjoyed the objectivity and realism shown by some posters.

Personally i believe you can always learn and improve from set backs. .. you can also learn from victories..  esp the lucky ones.  So it is worth being realistic. .. and i want to seebpur coaches andbplayerrs responding.

I think negativity is bourn of frustration.  Like any good buddist i just recognise it and let it go....

I agree that recent success has created a sense of entitlement with some. Almost like the sense of entitlement that winds me up about Arsenal and Liverpool fans.

If you put everything in context, people cannot simply moan. It is unbelievable actually.

Maybe these people would rather go back to the David Pleat or Craig Levein eras!

To be honest I was thinking the same thing today.

The vast majority of the time I enjoy being part of FT, but right after a loss I've noticed some on here start to turn on each other at the smallest of things. Someone can voice an innocent opinion that during the week would be debated in a reasonable manner, but as soon as we lose all rationale goes out the window for a couple of hours. The match threads at times are ridiculous.

I think folk just need to remember to look at the bigger picture. We as a fan base have already achieved far more than we ever thought we would in our lives following the foxes, and we're still 8th in the top division! Of course criticise where it's due, but there is absolutely no reason not to be over the moon.
