We do need to sign players better than what we have but we have to be realistic as well. Ive never seen Jonny play but ive heard good things about him. I think smith would be a decent signing though. Prem experience and always looks decent in a pretty shit Bournemouth team.

As we all know, it is extremely difficult to break into the top 6 and even harder to stay there so if we have any ambition of doing so we must do everything possible to recruit the best players. Obvious, I know, but we are doing pretty well right now and still have an outstanding talent in Mahrez so if we can add further outstanding talent we have a platform to go forward, and will also increase our attractiveness to other outstanding talent. If we cannot do this then we will always be losing our best players and be perpetually going one step forwards and two steps back a la Southampton.

Philip Lahm could play both sides and also in midfield. You can be a versatile full back you know.
