Again, I’ll repeat what I’ve said before.

Our fans over-value him because he’s one of the new fad “ball playing defenders”. Do none of our other defenders play the ball?!?

My concern with Harry is that he wonders off up the pitch (carrying the ball), leaving a gaping hole in our defence. Morgan is slow, Fuchs has a habit of not tucking in. Simpson is better. He’d be better as part of a back 3 in my opinion.

I got slaughtered on twitter for this view where others were messaging me to say Simpson and Morgan are frauds lol.

Thing is of Maguire went to Man City, he wouldn’t have to defend less...

Yes I knew what you meant.

Not schoolboy stuff. I don't understand why our own supporters refer to Man City as just as City? Leicester are City to me.

I very much doubt that you would hear Leeds or Newcastle fans referring to Man United just as United.

I’m saying school boy stuff on my part calm down. Was easier typing that with my fat thumbs.

Fair enough. Just saying it grates on me as it gets said far too often.

What about when he wonders off up the pitch taking out half the opposite team and relieving pressure on  our defence?

Which is okay, until he losses the ball or gives it to someone else who losses it and and we have a gaping hole.

Lets be honest, we don’t exactly have a team full of players that are comfortable on the ball.

So surely the appropriate solution is to keep signing players who are comfortable on the ball rather than selling one of our best players with his best years still well ahead of him.

I Was taught as a kid if your centre half or full back went past you you dropped in.

Surely at this level we should be able to adapt to that.

Potentially yes. However, we also need a change in system to accommodate. I’m personally of the opinion that he’s viewed through blue tinted specticles somewhat.

You and I both! I think we miss Huths leadership and communication.

We do. The deepest miffielder drops in. And unless we are chasing the game, Maguire doesn't push forward unless the two holding midfielders are in range of dropping in.

Well according to foxes talk that isn't the case as Harry is at fault for the amount we concede:blink:

There's always going to be flaws in every player that pulls on a Leicester shirt. If there weren't, well, he wouldn't be at Leicester.

He's a top defender and I for one think we're lucky to have someone who is as good at the back as he is going forward. He has massive confidence in his ability and it's refreshing. Why do people just pick at his faults without seeing his true worth? Brilliant signing for £17m. An absolute snippet when you compare to VVD who is very much overpriced

100% gone in summer

He could well be if Man City do come knocking with serious intent but it wouldn’t be for anything less than what Southampton just got for Van Dijk!

Maybe the City thing has something to do with the nick name.

Im sure its in a match thread or somewhere, but i mentioned that Pep was on the pitch after our match...TAPPING UP harry..live on TV. He has done it with Redmond and with Sanchez..

The league need to step in coz this is just taking the piss... the manager of the (currently) biggest and best club in the country walks up to a player he is interested in, throws an arm around his neck and mumbles into his ear ...

("Great game son, with a little more experience i could see you at Man City in the champions league, with a premier league championship..loads of money...England call up...etc etc")

Make no mistake, Pep will be back in June for Harry with unlimited cash and an already warmed up player.

Edit.. cant find the Harry pic... but its just like these...\

Image result for pep with sanchez
