Throwing players in at this stage is bizarre.

Just makes the transfer way more complicated, should just pay the equivalent in cash if they want him.

Don't get what people have against Delph. He is actually more than a decent player and it's not like we're loaded in this area.

Delusion of grandeur.

I think he's a decent player but its not an area we really need to strengthen anymore. Last summer would have been better if he were the player to be swapped as we were in the market for a CM then.

Unless its a player we have previously expressed an interest in...........

Who does he replace though?

he can play as left back as well as in the midfield. Just in case and Fuchs is past his best.

we should just mess whoever the player is around in his medical and contract negotiations so he rejects us and the whole deal falls through.

He can play as left-back. He replaced Mendy and did really well.

After the time it took for them to agree a deal on Nacho, why would they think we would roll over and let them have Mahrez. Their first offer was more than insulting as well.

Sure but surely that would never happen?

Who'd have thought Kelechi Iheanacho to Leicester for £25m plus a buyback clause for Manchester City would ever happen?

That's actually a very good point.

I reckon it's likely to be Brahim Diaz, given he is an attacking player.

Zinchenko would be nice but can't see them wanting to lose him given they are short at left back and he has been filling in nicely.

Bloody hate transfer day !

I just want to focus on tonights game and how we can get 3 points closer to Arsenal and 6th place.

All focus will be on whether Mahrez stays or goes :(

My love for football goes down 10 fold at this time of year :S
