Got a special offer off Beer52 couple of weeks ago but with the lockdown,  I finally got around ordering a crate of mixed beers in.    I particularly enjoyed Siren Soundwave and Wildbeer Nebula (especially the latter) so far.   I also got beers from Gipsy Hill,   Wiper and True,  Sori Brewing,  Omnium and Tak Brevog lined up too.

What is these companies and Beer 52's reputation amongst the beer community like?

I tend to drink dark beers but Siren are ace across the board. Big fan of the milk stout from Wiper and True, bloody lovely drop.

Shout out to Aldis across the Leeds/Bradford area for keeping a man stocked up on Rheiney’s through the lockdown. Also ventured across to buying the Aldi Stella’s as well, I think they’re called St Ettiene or something and they’re really nice as well but don’t hold a candle to Rheinbacher.

Got an order in with Charnwood Brewery for delivery so looking forward to a mixture of ales from a local business in the next day or two.

I'll report back on my findings....

The Classroom on Allendale Rd are selling draught beer to people bringing bottles.

I went down yesterday, people queued sensibly and kept a good distance. Got a litre of their lager along with some peanut butter stout and then watermelon gin for the missus.

Lager fresh from the tap tasted great.

I can't go through 47 pages of recommendations:

Looking to get a case or two in and need some beer recommendations. Happy to try most stuff. Often like the darker ales but currently drinking a golden ale. And nothing at all wrong with lager now the sun's here.

Currently got wild nebula and plum porter in the basket - any others I should be going for?

Jaipur is pretty good and nice in this weather. Also yeah where you buying from? Beaver town gamma ray is good if they have it.

Having a really cold bottle of Estrella sat on my balcony with my sunnies on pretending I’m on my jollies.

Got some pint tins of Stella in the fridge so I’m going to light 100 fags, close all the windows and pretend I’m down the WMC later on.

Don't mind an Estrella at all. Currently sat in my garden drinking charnwood brewery's copper ale with music blaring out. On my own for the next fortnight so got to do something to make it enjoyable!

Just find a random website - redh - but happy to buy elsewhere to get the right selection of beer

Your best bet is to download the Untapped app and type in the beers to see the reviews. Yes I’m that sad but it’s worth it.

Had an incredible Verdant recently, something about a mirror looking at a door.

Just enjoying a Dark Drake from the Dancing Duck brewery.

Derby based, but fvck me they do good (and award winning) gear. Luckily I can get it home delivered.

Leicester boys, we are here etc...

Currently on DCUK from the same gaff. Perfect for this weather and hoppy enough without being OTT.

Got a crate of Camden Hells in reserve for tomorrow.

Currently got a Paulaner Munich hells from m and s, very nice.

I lived off that when I worked in Northern Italy as it was one of the only decent beers around.
