Ha ha ha if the article on lcfc.com had made it clear yesterday then is of said fair play lol. I just saw sky sports that there giving 60 season ticket holders free renewal. That is totally fine and I think that’s a great gesture ?. Wish that was made clear yesterday so to all sorry for my rant ?

how can the article be misunderstood? I thought it was quite explanatory to the fact it would be a free renewal

Hardened fans? Plastic?

Grow up. Having a season ticket doesn’t make you a better fan than anyone else.

Relax, he’s winding you up like I posted on page 1, as I knew I’d get a bite or two. :D

But he has a point like me

I understand members and other fans find it difficult to get a season ticket nowadays but I am also sure a lot of those people wouldn't bother if we were relegated. Most (and not all, myself included) have seen the "dark days" and had season tickets for years.

Oh I do like a plastic/proper fan rant.  Personally I go back as far as Barry Pierpoint.  Mr P and I had a short discussion over whether my father, myself and my girlfriend amounted to a "family" and were entitled to be members of the family club (as we had been for quite a while).  Mr P pointed that following our promotion there was a waiting list for the family club and they'd had to change the rules rendering us ineligible.  "Waiting list?  Not when we joined there ****ing wasnt, you ****wit" was my considered retort.  We relocated to the Spion Kop.

Anyway - fantastic gesture from the chairman (again).  Just look around at other clubs and see how others are treated!

As a season ticket holder, the only disappointment is how most of them are going to be given out via some form of communication from the club.

Imagine if if on Saturday the 60 were given out, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory style, hidden inside a clap banner with Vichai’s face emblazoned on the winning tickets. As well as the tickets, the winners could then be escorted on a tour around the ground by Willy Wonka himself, The Birch.

Talk about a missed opportunity.

The clappers would be missing or thrown on the floor by the time most people got in.

Yes, I know you weren't being entirely serious.

Great gesture, and once again brilliant stuff from our owners. I just hope the celebrations aren't TOO cringe worthy this time round, though I actually expect them to be even worse than last year.

Still small price to pay for fantastic owners that have truly turned the club around and who I believe will continue to grow and improve the club for years to come.

Fantastic, if I win one can I choose the seat next to mine and eject the current person?

That's what my son said!  I wouldn't mind but I PAY FOR BOTH!

A sort of translation...

The U-21s were born to Derby County before moving to Leicester City for a fee of £ 500,000 in January 2008, Milan's Mordechai chairman of the team at the time. That is a very important signing.

Although not able to help the team escape the fall in the Championship battle. But later that season, Oakley Became the captain of Leicester City and has contributed to the team to create a record 23 consecutive consecutive games with the team to win the league day. In the 2008-09 season, he was selected for the league's best team.

Oakley football in the "King Power Stadium" until 2012, with 148 pitches beat 10 goals.

Still makes more sense than kp1984 lol

Exactly, I clearly read it that my season ticket will be renewed for free this Saturday.

yeah but apart from giving us free beer, bacon cobs, cakes, doughnuts, scarves, t shirts and now season tickets as well as getting us promoted to the premier league, winning the premier league and paying off all the clubs debts, what has this chairman done for us?

He can celebrate his birthday however he wants. If he wants to be chaired around the pitch by Vardy, Wes, The Birch and Bernie that's ok with me!

The ****ing bacon cobs. Now I have an issue with these.

They are always for bloody Sunderland or Newcastle and I live north of the county. So have to drive 25 mins in the wrong direction to get a cob and a cuppa.............

He should bloody well deliver in that helicopter show he understands the 1st world issues I have making a 50 minute detour lollollol

I know. We should probably do a "West Ham" and stage a violent protest in front of the directors box to make a stand about this sort of thing....

All us that were season ticket holders during that 04-08 period should get one imo

Having to watch Holloway manage your team is enough to send anyone over the edge. I wouldn't stop at free season ticket, a medal for sitting through some of that crap

In the first few lines of my reply I was merely offering a suggestion as to how the club could have recognised both STH's and members. In the last line or two I was saying that despite my suggestion, I thought it was a great gesture by our great owners (even if they're not perfect, but no-one is).

Not sure I understand what part of my suggestion/post you feel is difficult to comprehend to be honest.

I "comprehend" fully what you have said. What I can't understand is there are folk who appear to be disagreeing or suggest modifications to this wonderful gesture. Remember, Vichai didn't have to make one in the first place.

Ah, I obviously misunderstood the "what really is the point of your post?" question you asked me, I was just explaining the point of my post for you.

All I did was complement our owners on a great gesture and in general, while offering a way in which the club could have appeased ALL supporters (at least the ones who have paid significant money at the start of the season), but it certainly wasn't a criticism at all. I understand you might not agree with that, but personally I just found your reply as unnecessary as you found my initial post.

Sorry didn't mean to shout !

Free drinks would be fine not sure about the season tickets but its his footy club and he can do as he wishes.

I’d usually not rise to it, but I’m sure some people genuinely have that way of thinking.

I don’t have an issue with it going to season ticket holders though.
