Yes, why do you ask? Did you?

We are talking the Burnley home game....

Yeah sorry it’s just that was our first glimpse of a Puel possession game and Burnley hated it because we frustrated the hell out of them!

... we did defend well though which hasn’t happened in a while lol

The manager and the players are talking about Europa league football. It has become a distraction, hence concentration levels have dipped. We need to look at ourselves and take it one game at a time rather than worrying about other clubs and chasing the game. Saturday was a prime example wasn't really rocket science. I did understand the team selection to include Diabate as pace up field. After 10 mins this was abundantly clear this wasn't working, we didn't change anything. Clearly Newcastle's dangerman in Jonjo Shelvey we should have had someone man mark him out of the game and cut off their creative outlet. For Burnley i assume they will play Wood and Barnes up front. Our central defenders should be more than capable of handling them. The key battle will be in the midfield and getting our wingers in dangerous positions and getting Mahrez to influence the game. i would like to see Okazaki/Gray in the team to link with Vardy.

Dyche has only started 4-4-2 in the last two games because Gudmundsson was unavailable. As a draw on Saturday would be a good result for us, I think Dyche will recall Jeff Hendrick to play just behind Ashley Barnes in a 4-4-1-1 with Wood as sub. If the Foxes get ahead, I'm sure Wood would be sent on in a 4-4-2.

We will throw away the first half (as per usual), go 1-0 behind due to a sloppy defensive error, then Vardy equalizes somewhere around the 67th minute and we will not care for much more.

Nothing at the moment tells me that this team really wants to finish 7th and potentially qualify for Europe, they're that half-arsed.

Neither team will be anywhere near full strength with quite a few regular starters missing, so anything could happen.

Burnley will be without Defour, Brady and probably Mee and Gudmundsson. Leicester won't have Iborra, Ndidi, Huth or Fuchs.

You got a lucky break that Maguire can play - many neutrals think he should be starting a 3-match ban on Saturday. He'll probably score the winner. Kane got a hat-trick at Turf Moor in December after he should have been sent off at Man City the previous week.

????

None of them is a starter anymore and Huth didn't play once this season. Not that we missed him anyway. The real problem is the midfield and I don't fancy our chances with Silva/Choudhoury.

It's an important game, although I still think Burnley will do enough to keep that 7th place now and so I would actually like to see us change it up a bit by bringing in a few players and changing the style or formation somewhat.

------------------------Kasper------------------------

------------Dragovic---Wes---Maguire------------

Albrighton-----------------------------------Chilwell

--------------------Silva----Choudhury---------------

----Mahrez-------------------------------Diabate---

---------------------------Vardy-----------------------

Silva to push on when in attack. whilst Choudhury sits. Would like to see Amartey, Iheanacho and Gray given some game time too if possible.

Last chance saloon as far as European qualification goes. I think we are done anyway but if we get back to three points with a better goal difference I guess you'd be daft to say we don't have a chance.

Burnley away last season was one of the most painful games to watch. I think we will play significantly better but I'd be surprised if we left with all 3 points.

Think we need to score on early on for a change won't get anything if we have to chase the game. Think we can nick a 2-1 un deserved win with a choudary header to win it

Maguire is not the answer to CM can we nip that in the bud please?

Any other suggestions?

2-0 Burnley. We can't break teams down and we cant defend so nothing other than a defeat. Burnley are a well organised side and the like of Newcastle, Stoke, Bournemouth have all proved that if you stay organised against us we won't beat you. We do seem to be better away than we are at home though so they may well surprise us. If we do manage to win and put ourselves back in with a chance of finishing 7th then it's nailed on that Southampton will beat us at the kp next week!

As I said, I hope that we play the players that will be here next year and forming out starters or those fringe players that we are not sure about yet. I think any 11 that are willing to put a shift in can beat Burnley and then we can follow that up with a victory on Thursday and move into 7th. If we can't be bothered then get rid of the players anyway.

If we're going to lose anyway why not experiment with a new system?

                 Mahrez (GK)

Okazaki    Morgan     Vardy    Huth(on crutches)

Hamer     Fuchs    Puel    Jakupovic

       Simpson       Schmeichel

Still better than Chilwell.

Burnley's best defender and skipper Ben Mee has again been ruled out by a shin (deep-seated bruising) injury and Dyche said today that Mee could likely miss the last 6 games of the season.

So if Leicester can cut the gap on Saturday, Burnley's defence will be badly weakened for the remaining games and struggle to hold on to 7th place. Tarkowski looked quite shaky at times last week without Mee at his side. Kevin Long is a decent stand-in but Burnley have taken a risk this season with only 3 recognised central defenders in the 25-man squad.

Dyche hopes Johann Berg Gudmundsson will be fit to face Leicester after two matches out with a calf injury. He would probably replace the ineffective loan winger N'Koudou. Brady and Defour are out for the season while Arfield and Walters are still struggling for fitness.

WhoScored website predicts 2-1 to Burnley, haven't seen Merson & Lawrenson (hope they go for Leicester):)

Big Ben Mee is out for them and so is Gudmundsson so we'd have a pretty good chance if we actually knew how to kick a football towards goal.

Gudmundsson might make it. Training normally this week. 50/50

our  chances to get leveled with burnley and hit them with the goal average  are this game on Saturday and Chelsea best them on the 19th of April

49 points for both  and we beat them with the goal average

Burnley might find it easier against Chelsea. Having to spend a Thursday night in Burnley won't be top of the Chelsea players' priorities.:)

If we had N'didi, I think we would win this as can see the players being more fired up for this one.

I think he is a massive loss though and we will struggle to control the midfield. Think Burnley will play for a draw to keep a nice gap, and that's what they will get. 0-0
