So if Leicester can cut the gap on Saturday, Burnley's defence will be badly weakened for the remaining games and struggle to hold on to 7th place. Tarkowski looked quite shaky at times last week without Mee at his side. Kevin Long is a decent stand-in but Burnley have taken a risk this season with only 3 recognised central defenders in the 25-man squad. Dyche hopes Johann Berg Gudmundsson will be fit to face Leicester after two matches out with a calf injury. He would probably replace the ineffective loan winger N'Koudou. Brady and Defour are out for the season while Arfield and Walters are still struggling for fitness. WhoScored website predicts 2-1 to Burnley, haven't seen Merson & Lawrenson (hope they go for Leicester) We can beat you 3 cb problem. In our 25 man squad we have one recognised Right Back - yes ONE - and that 1 player is Danny Simpson ???
bpfox Posted 12 April 2018 Posted 12 April 2018 hate to say it but cant see anything other than a burnley win and maybe even by 3-0. just cant see peul picking the right team, his selections are confusing, our defense is terrible and shows no sign of improving, we create nothing and the subs he uses, well lets call them strange. we have blown a chance to get into Europe next year. 1
Aus Fox Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 You know we will win this game comfortably, it’s what we do! We like to keep that little bit of hope there right until the end. I’m going for a 3-1 wi. Obviously Wood will score for them, and celebrate by asking Puel for his daughters phone number. Chilwell will level things up, Mahrez will miss a penalty, however, Choudhury will knock one in with his hair from the resulting corner. They will then miss several great chance and Vardy after a largely ineffective game Will scruff one home in injury time. Pulel’s Manager confidence will be at about 80% again after the game. I would line up with The Friendly Ghost Son of Homer The irreplaceable Captain Big Tobey The Fridge The Nose 2nd Place Go with the fro The Hokey Cokey Too much sugar Reg 2 1
Pete Campbell Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 My team would be. Maybe Diabate over Amartey with Albrighton playing RB. Schmeichel Amartey Morgan Maguire Chilwell Silva Choudrey Gray Mahrez Albrighton Vardy
Stadt Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 Sean Dyche puts water in his ketchup to make it last longer 4
Pete from the USA Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 Here's my worry: Burnley sit in, Leicester play their new attacking football at 80% intensity, leave space in behind, then concede two goals on counter-attacks. Burnley win 2-0, in effect pulling a Leicester on Leicester. Given we can all see this happening now, can nothing be done to stop it?

Grebfromgrebland Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 I actually think he'll be good as a defensive midfielder sitting in front of the back four. This would allow him to maraude forward without worrying about the defence.

TheLittleBigMan Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 I just want a good performance off the team.
lancyclaret Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 We'll definitely lose.....Merson and Lawrenson both predict Burnley 2 Leicester 1. We're better as underdogs.
MC Prussian Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 If we throw this game away and lose, then the Europa League train has most definitely gone. I wish for a decent performance during both halves, that we look up for it and are determined to show what we've got instead of letting it slide, kicking the ball back and forth, producing nothing noteworthy up front. Anything to get away from that bland kind of possession-based football that just doesn't suit our players. At least for now. Please. 1
indierich06 Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 These will beat us, we'll probably have 2 shots on target in 90 mins and it'll be boring as f##k. Out of the race for EL and onto a summer of squandering yet another transfer budget. 1

Crikey we only had one in 94 minutes against Newcastle at home so if we manage 2 shots I will be estatic.

Happy Fox Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 I hope the players play for themselves even if they don’t want to play for the manager, come on City, We want trips to Warsaw, Nice etc 1
Milo Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 Haven't seen any evidence over the past couple of months or so that indicates anything other than a timid performance from us - with maybe a late rally when we're 2 goals down. Want a win, want a good performance, want to be positive...

I wouldn't count on it, mate. We are rubbish at the moment. Better away from home, though, so it could be a draw. I can't see us winning this one.
lancyclaret Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 Well....that's torn it. Dyche has won the "Manager of the Month" award.:( We all know what usually happens after this....defeat.

dannythefox Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 I’d be surprised if we beat them there a quality team who are very organised, we're not the team we were plus he’ll make changes again.
lancyclaret Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 Maguire could well have seen "red" last week. Barnes or Maguire favourite for a red card tomorrow?
