You Don't want him because of his music tastes? I'm not gonna Sing his praises, and I'm not Drunk, but I still want The Man despite who he listens to or is in a Photograph with. Plus, I'm not gonna Runaway with this, as One is not even an Ed Sheeran fan, Maddison doesn't Dive, so he'd be Perfect for us, and if he brings his A Team we'd be much Happier with our New Man.

Still, What Do I Know?

I'm just Thinking Out Loud.

Haha.

I’m  guessing that’s littered with song titles ?

Norwich have accepted a 24m bid from both Leicester and Southampton. If you believe what is being reported he will be decideding witching the next 24 to 48 hrs who he want to play for. Let’s hope with us being nearer to his family in Coventry he picks us

I think we’re the logical option but football is rarely logical. Really want us to get this lad, think we’d live to regret it if we don’t

Why Mendy couldn't get into the starting XI at OGC Nice this past season, we'll probably never know.

Fact is, they do have serious competition in central midfield and I guess coupled with his injury crisis prior to joining them on loan, there was simply too much risk attached to playing him straightaway or that often.

He was certainly good enough for Favre to have him start in the Europa League.

All we can tell is that results-wise, Nice played better without Mendy on the pitch. And that Mendy has never been renowned for being a goalscorer or initiating goalscoring chances, he's a breakup player more than anything and was meant to be Kanté's replacement.

Labeling Mendy an "abject failure" is a gross exaggeration.

For what it's worth and for his own sake, I think he should return to a Ligue 1 side.

To be clear, I said that the signing of Mendy can only go down as an abject failure.  A failure on our part if you like.  The fact that he cost £16mn, has made no worthwhile contribution and will likely be moved on for a huge loss means that I would definitely stand by that judgement.

24 hours later, thinking about this, I don't think Southampton made any sort of bid, I think it's just Norwich trying to get Leicester to up their bid and sort this out quickly cos it has really dragged on. Yesterday night the Sun and then the Mail reported that he was going to Southampton, now both Newspaper's claim he going to join Leicester.

It sure is confusing if your a betting man, sorry person like me. ( noticed that Skybet have made us hot favorite's to get him in the last 4 hours, compare d to last nights odds).

So so confusing, first you had Southampton fans on their Saintsweb forum drooling at that prospect of signing him, now their even believing that Leicester will get him. Same with us, yesterday night we thought we he was going to the Saints, now the opposite.

If you bet on transfers regularly, you'll notice that one person making one bet is sufficient to move odds significantly. Evens to 4/6 is hardly making us hot favourites, one bet of £20 will do that. Maddison to us was 1/3 last week.

That's a serious bid if true, looks like we would want to get in and get it done. £20m is a respectful opening offer for a player at that level.

Those odds don’t reflect anything like an imminent move to us.

If the Mahrez transfer saga is holding this up tell Man C, Mahrez or his agent to pull their finger out and get it sorted one way or another, or tell Mahrez he is not going anywhere.

Yeh last time we did that with Mahrez it didn't work out so well. But you're right we need Mahrez to move asap.
