I saw mahrez at the train station last year getting a bollocking by one of the conductors, no wonder he's been so desperate to leave.

Probably telling him to pass the fcuking ball.....

One of the most talented players I’ve seen wear a City shirt and I will remember him for that but unfortunately I will also remember him letting his team mates and the fans down with his ‘strop’ in January, wish him well at Man City but we move on now.....

I don't recall him genuinely not playing but apologies if I got it wrong.  I thought he threw a bit of a wobbly but he always seemed to play andwas still one of our better player for most of it?  As I said though, if I am wrong sorry and thanks for putting me right.  X

No problem. Whatever the love for the man let's at least be honest.

Like I said, if I am wrong I apologise. I thought he spazzed out and missed a game but I don't remember objectively provable facts that he refused to play for us.  If I am wrong I am always willing to hold my hands up.  It was a shame and a bit of an unpleasant period but still a legend for me.  Having said that, definitely time for him to move on.

Never say he wasn't a legend was a major part of the immortals. Such a shame it got messy but good luck to him and we really need to move on

Mahrez is brilliant, always will love him, gave us the title, has been fantastic to watch

He definitely threw a strop.  You dont miss games for no reason.  Puel in his press conferences made it fairly clear I think that Mahrez was not turning up for work

But whatever, small price to pay for what we've enjoyed with him.  I look forward to watching him at Man City and really hope he does well for the rest of his career.  I want to see him keep performing at the highest level

Yeah I think best for all parties that he moves on.  I wish him well at Man City.  I know some fans think that to be a real fan you have to basically wish every player that ever left us for another club dies but I hope he does well there and will still feel some sort of pride that he was a Leicester player if he goes on to be as good as I think he will be at Man City.  I also think we can move on as a team with him gone and with the money that his transfer will bring in.  I am hoping it is like the Bale situation where we can strengthen the squad even though we lose our best player.  X

Are we waiting to reach 100 pages before we announce he's gone.

I suspect it might be because we want to being in one or two more, without having our pockets picked knowing that they're full.

He'll always be a legend here and I hope he goes on and gets better, Then we can say we made him the top player he is.

It's just a pity he soured his relationship with a lot of people.

I think you'll find that it was a team effort that gave us the title.

When I say gave us the title, I mean he helped give us the title with the rest of the squad

Yes it was a team effort, and he contributed spectacularly, as did most of them

We were looking great for that Europa spot before Everton away- the season unravelled after that.

Shame he tainted his legendary status, but he's the past now- we need to put that money towards strengthening a couple of positions and moving forward. We're in a very healthy position, even without him.

Without one of the fantastic three, it would've never ever happened. The team certainly played its role brillantly but you can't win the PL, or any significant title for that matter, without world class players.

First LCFC PFA player ever and one of the club's greatest being belittled by bitter fans. Only on FT.

Unsung heroes. Only few know about their contribution. They won't be forgotten.

WIth Yaya Toure saying Guardiola has a problem with African players, I think Man City signing Mahrez will be even more important to him, especially if it's for a club record fee.

He's French though?

lets not beat around the bush, we know what Toure actually means; signing Mahrez won't prove anything to Yaya's allegations
