Unfortunately as it stands I cannot see us getting a draw from anywhere for the rest of the season. Our performances are dreadful and as much as he wants to blame the players it’s down to him to motivate and set up! 

 

Don’t want us to lose but can’t see anything other than that!

I mean they're absolutely ****ed if they lose, and I dont think he'll be stupid enough not to play Caroll again. So i'm definitely concerned this will be a loss.

Puel has to win, simple. He could do with a 3-0 or 4-0 home win but I can't see it happening. West Ham look very bad and, I think, have won two away games all season. They'll come fighting.

Whatever happens as hard as it is with performances at the minute, get behind the lads from the off!! At least we aren't as bad as west ham at the minute, club in turmoil, real chance of relegation, fans wanting the board out, they would bite our hand off to swap places with us, I expect to see massive changes with the starting 11, puel will feel like this is the game that seals his fate my starting 11 would be

Assuming Claude is still here, I'll turn up with a queasy sense of morbid curiosity. A bit like going to the party of a good friend in the knowledge that his/her dodgy, unpopular partner is likely to turn up and cause a horrible atmosphere.

 

Is this still supposed to be the "end of season" home match at which the players do a lap of honour or has that been moved to the Arsenal match? Crowd response to a lap of honour will be interesting unless they put in a much better performance than of late. 

 

It won't help being without Albrighton, Ndidi & Okazaki - 3 players who'll at least put in a bit of vigour to get the crowd going, even on a bad day. Mind you, from MotD highlights, West Ham looked as bad as us....

Seriously hope the team have enough pride to put on a battling performance, at least, or the atmosphere could get pretty sour.

Another loss is on the cards. West Ham as bad as they've been lately, need to win and we just don't look up for anything right now, definitely not up against a team desperate to win. 

 

I think a lot of players are bemused by Puel and many are thinking about the World Cup already and not wanting to risk an injury.

I cant see anything but a WHU win, we are a mess at the moment and missing some key players. I too dont think we will win another game this season. On Saturday I called for Puel to go but now that I have had time to go from spitting blood angry to just pissed off, we should give him time. He knows what is wrong with the team, any new manager would have to study the team to get to the same perspective that CP has so sacking him would be a waste of time. You never know he might be the next Martin O'God.

Hope Carroll doesn't play as if he is on his game he will give Morgan a horrible time. Do think the team will turn up this week after the aweful palace display and you never know we might see city score 2 at home ?

Think Puel’s best bet here is to shoehorn in as many players that have something to prove as possible, without making us too weak. Otherwise I can’t see the effort being there.

Hopefully this bust up Carroll and Moyes have had will mean he won’t play.  Always has a good game against us.

We will lose, simply because we’re depleted beyond belief. But it doesn’t matter what happens some sections of fans will be hostile whatever the result I think. I don’t think I’ve seen this much hate circling the stands for years, where I sit there’s it’s quite potent.
