Nailed on loss.

 

Iborra out, Ndidi out, Okazaki out, Albrighton out.

 

Club in a shambolic state, sadly. If Puel is cut adrift before then and we suddenly turn up and toss them - that will say a lot about some folk.

Not a nailed on loss at all if Puel is moved out and Appleton takes over and simplifies things.

Albrighton suspended, Ndidi out injured? May or may not be Puel in charge? Schmeichel available? Shinji available? Huth available? We can't just keep handing shirts (starting positions) to players who have made mistakes. A lot of things up in the air therefore.

Some steady Eddies in there to avoid a Hammers Hammering but it'll be nothing like that. Morgan, Chilwell, Choudhry and  Nacho will be in Dragovic, Huth, Fuchs and Shinji won't be.

Is anyone going to bother turning up for this? Im working but even if I wasn't, dont think i could watch anymore of the dross puel is serving up.

Not sure I want to turn up if Puel is still the manager

if he is gone might be nice to see a home win for a change, struggling to recall how it feels it’s been so long

I have been adamant that the club ought to stick with Puel and I still firmly believe that. But I don’t think that is how this now plays out. From the ITKs on here, the press and what we are seeing on the pitch, I think he’s a dead man walking. Sadly, if that is true, the damage that is now being done to the club may force a change before the end of the season. The whole thing is a great big, stinking mess. In my completely uninformed opinion, we are now a club where we seem to be dictated to by a group of ageing players. I nailed my colours to the mast a few weeks ago and suggested a massive overhaul of playing staff. I still think CP should be allowed to do that and populate the squad with his players that want to play his way and for him. Otherwise we are in groundhog day. It won’t matter who the next manager is - if he doesn’t play the way this group want to play, he’ll become isolated. So is it the case that CP isn’t strong enough to enforce his methodology? I don’t think we know. We know he can’t enforce it with this squad, but I think we should find out if he can with ‘his’ squad. Otherwise, with the exception of one or two, we are protecting a squad from whom we’ve already had their best days. Just my thoughts.

Dress code is trunks and flip flops (inflatables such as dinosaurs even) for the whole "already on the beach" theme. Looking forward to Karen Brady in her Bikini joining Birch's run.
