This guy is the new Karl Robinson for the bookies ..... over hyped and would be a car crash. I just don’t get the hype. He helped Hull with the number Manager bounce and has lived off that. They still went down.

He moved to Barnet ,,,,,,,,,, very convenient for London Conley but I think that ship sailed

He's moved again. Further south of London this time.

He's also linked with Leeds and Everton. Its a no from me. I do think Puels a going though. I truly believe were looking whilst he's still in charge to speed the process up, when he gets binned.

Which players commute from London?

James, Simpson, Kasper, Iheanacho all Manchester. Okazaki, Fuchs, Mahrez all down south. Albrighton, Gray Birmingham. Huth Cheshire.

The only ones living local are the new lads who moved from other countries as they are put up in Stoneygate when they first arrive usually.

I can never understand why players live so far away from where their club is based? Otherwise they shouldn't be playing for them. That shouldn't be allowed.

All players should live within close proximity of the club they play for. If they don't want that, then they should find a club that is close to where they live.

Not sure if you saw the chat with Steve Walsh last night, but can't help wondering if he was making that point in talking about how the team of his day was so successful because of how close the squad were and how they spent a lot of time together? Possibly reading too much into it, but I do agree that it's important.

Considering he got the best out of our two most expensive signings when he was at Sporting Lisbon, he'd be worth a look. Giving Hull even a glimpse of staying up was a minor miracle considering their squad. Watford is a difficult one, because nobody knows what was going on there. The Everton interest seemed to wreck them, before that they were flying.

Didn't they all live in these far away places when we won the league and our togetherness and team spirit was deemed a major part of that?

I kind of agree with the sentiment but I'm pretty sure that few clubs enjoy that sort of connection and the balance of power is loaded against clubs these days

He would certainly bring a long term vision of 4 months anyway

That's long enough it should run out just as we sack him.

Or the players get bored of him and trying to pass to each other

Probably good were approaching Rafa and Silva in a way.

Guarantee to Silva he will have the job in 4 months when everyone gets bored of Rafa so he doesn't take another job

Then we can have two new manager bounces in the same season, we can get rid of both without much compensation, and our little darlings wont get bored of trying to play football.

Its a decent plan.
