Firstly if we don't sort out this dressing room crap we'll still have the same problems

Rafa could cos he's got that air about him

Wengers looking for a project

Wagner looks to get players on his side

Break the bank and get either of the top two for me

We've missed the boat on Dyche now. He won't leave Burnley now they've made the Europa league. Shame he would have been ideal here

I wouldn’t be so sure, is he likely to turn down another opportunity for potentially 2 games?

Wenger? His wage alone is probably more than our entire squad... and he’s been pasted for years by the arsenal fans, so I think he would want more than six games before he starts getting boo’d.

Huddersfield are really boring to watch btw.....

Probably because they have a very boring squad, no matter how boring they have been to watch, he has done a fantastic job getting them promoted then keeping them up (nearly)!! Were talking about HUDDERSFIELD not a established prem team

He is overachieving at Huddersfield they should be in the relegation zone.

As for us whether he would be a good fit I am not so sure, I don’t think we can afford a gamble we need experience and know how at this level would take Rafa, Dyche first and foremost.

They probably will be after 38 games, they probably won’t pick up another point.

They got a great one yesterday. Southampton and west Brom are going.

It doesn't matter who we're linked with potentially replacing Puel. Majority of people would not be happy.

Most people weren't happy when we appointed Ranieri after the great escape.

Rather than think about the name of the manager and his record, how boring his teams are etc etc. Because there is always a negative.

If he was appointed, what would we be getting?

Someone with a bit of passion of the touchline? Someone that looks like he could motivate the players? I'd say yes on this.

Someone that has a footballing philosophy that could work here? High pressing? Not obsessed with ball retention, but finds ways to compete? Again I'd say yes.

Has he over achieved or under achieved in his career? Over achieved. Great!!

Able to adapt his style of football? Yes, I read they haven't scored in 19 games this season, but are still on course to stay up. In the championship they were much more expansive. So this shows he is able to change it up given his squads abilities.

Is he a gamble? Yes, of course.

But every manager, or player being brought into the club is a gamble. Taking Pearson back for a 2nd time was, taking Ranieri on was a gamble. Taking Shakespeare, Sven, Puel on were gambles. They don't always work, but sometimes they do.

I think rather than just going for a big name, or someone with loads of experience the board should be praised a little for thinking a little more out of the box.

No manager has a chance at Leicester until the Player power is broken up.

Do you really think it’s that?, I’m not so sure, I think the players just can’t play the way he wants them to, and have become disillushioned.

Since Christmas we have slowly lost confidence and now it’s at an all time low, we even made West Ham look like Barcelona.

Puel should have kept to the high intensity football and only changed the style when he had the right players in, that has been his own downfall and because he is to stubborn to change he will get sacked.

The next manager for me has to be of strong character but also somebody that can communicate with the players, Rafa Benetiz and Eddie Howe would be top of my list other than that we are struggling unless we can poach a high class European manager.

I’m not so sure, SOTON played well at the weekend and I reckon they’ll beat Swansea. Then Swansea will beat stoke on the final day. It’s quite possible.

I just think we need a man to come in who will command respect from the start, for that reason I’d want a manager who’s won things ie. Benitez - he would also attract a higher quality of player.

Yep, because that would be exactly the same.

Like when Koeman turned down Everton to stay at Southampton? Or Pochettino likewise with Spurs?

We have been interested before, his philosophy seems more realistic than Puel's for example. We have the players to play intensive high press football. I would prefer experience and know how at this level, but if we cannot get that than bringing in a young manager maybe the way to go.

I really don’t think Rafa would come here... he’s not stupid, he would be wary of our managerial merry go round and wouldn’t risk it...

This. I reckon we are left with two choices. Either we sell up our entire squad and replace them with new signings - this option will result in relegation. Or we appoint a manager with a worldwide reputation who is big enough to manage the players. David Wagner doesn't fit this mould, we need a Rafa Benitez.

He would be perfect for us.

He doesn’t play boring football, he just realises that to be successful with a squad that is amongst the worst on paper in the division you have to be organised and hard working above anything else.

Don’t forget that he is from the Jurgen Klopp school of football and that style of play is far from boring.

We have a squad that will suit his style and I’m confident that the fans will get excited about a young, charismatic manager that connects very well with the fans.

I’m not sure we’d get him though as he may be loyal to Huddersfield and the fantastic chairman they have there or it could be that bigger clubs are sniffing about.

I honestly think, if the money was right, Rafa would take the job. Don't underestimate what managers and players will do and where they will go for a few more £££££s. If the wages were high and there was a significant budget he could be prised from Newcastle I'm sure. If a bigger club come in for him then that's a different matter.

I'd argue that many clubs in the PL are 'managerial merry-go-rounds' - Chelsea, Leicester, Everton, Swansea, WBA, Palace, West Ham and guess what? They're all mostly shite but I don't think it would put off the right person.

Whatever we do,  we need to have it sorted by the end of May. There's such a lot to determine by the time the players return in July. The likely sale of Mahrez, the need to rid the squad of expensive mistakes like Musa, decisions on the future of the likes of Slimani, Mendy, James, King, Gray, Benny, Huth, Hamer, Ulloa, Jakupovic and Dragovic. Then the need to purchase a first team ready right back, centre back, winger, attacking centre mid and foil for Vardy. And that's without even contemplating bids for the likes of Wilf, Vards or big H.

If we get it right we can realistically push for a top seven finish. If we get it wrong we could be relegated.

We cannot afford to make a mistake this summer with the managerial position.

We will have some big players possibly leaving in the transfer window and with however in charge likely to have a large purse string, spending incorrectly (as seen at Stoke- Jack Butland’s comments say all) could end our premier league status very quickly.

My father in law is a Huddersfield season ticket holder and he raves about Wagner likes he's the Messiah. Reckons he got them going on a shoestring budget with a crap squad and moved them up the table in his first season, second season got them up and could keep them up in the prem without spending much.

They play a high press system which would suit us and I've seen them a few times and they play decent football and mix it up a bit.which would also suit us and our squad is a lot better than there's and with a bigger budget I think he'd do quite well.
