Doesn't matter who we get in if we get some bad results most of the fans will want him sacked, there is no pleasing some people, IMO we all expect to much  im sorry to say it ain't going to happen, we are Leicester city can anyone see us being atop four club, no is the answer as long as we stay in the PL then I'm OK with that,

I don’t know where this idea of ‘If a managers not winning every game he’ll not get time’ comes from.

We’ve won 4 in 19, we’ve not won at home in the league since January, it’s not even as if we can be positive about performance, we’ve been disgraceful.

People have been questioning even even when we have won - for good reason.

He keeps playing the same poor players and not rewarding players who have come in and done a job.

If we could see improvement, had something to be positive about there wouldn’t be so much vitriol towards him, there would be some and I’m not going to say there wouldn’t because it goes without saying people simply dislike him but he isn’t exactly helping himself in that way but to say it’s as simple as people saying ‘if a managers not winning every game he’ll not get time’ is just wrong.

Rafa would be my first choice, no question. But he won’t come here.

Ive never understood this logic. He joined Newcastle in a far worse situation then we are in to work for a tight arse bloke with no ambition. I reckon he'd jump at the chance to be honest.

Napoli will be calling once their manager goes

Exactly. I do think Benitez will leave Newcastle but I think he'll go to a bigger club than us.

Don't want him back thanks but he has been linked with a return. Paper talk hopefully.

He's unproven, his team has a terrible scoring record. We need an experienced manager capable of taking us by the scruff of the neck and sorting out the apathy epidemic. Will certainly be someone who can rustle a few feathers and I think we'll see that from Puel during the transfer window, should he still be here. Why would we chase a target that turned us down purely to demonstrate his capability of keeping a poor team hovering just above relegation. We deserve better than that.

The thing that keeps going through my mind is that if Rudkin keeps employing management that deflects the attention from his own shortfalls.

That doesn’t mean we need an experienced manager, it means we need a confident one who won’t take any shit.

Experience is massively overrated, it’s something that Pardew and Allardyce have, but both are awful managers.

What we need is someone with a certain personality and philosophy.

Huddersfield have looked good at times and awful at others, but it’s hard to say how much of it is down to the quality of the players.

I think it would be a risky appointment because whilst he’s shown flashes of playing a good style he seems to have been inconsistent with it as Huddersfield haven’t pressed and played as confidently away as they do at home.

Chill out man. And Leicester is a City, Huddersfield is a town so of course we're going to have a bigger attendance / ground.

Billionaire owners means fvck all if they can't get it all right at the top. And I don't think it is right. Our problem is way bigger than constantly sacking the manager.

Doesn't always follow. Many of the UK's towns are bigger than some of the UK's cities.

However in this case, Leicester has a population around two and a half times that of Huddersfield. Interestingly, only London, Manchester and Milton Keynes grew faster than Leicester in the ten years before the 2011 census (Google's great!).

I like Wagner. A lot. He's a good tactician, knows how to find a bargain, and understands how important it is to have everyone on the same page (even the fans).

Pressing football is the way, and this is where Puel gets it wrong. Possession is a wonderful luxury but if you're not forcing the other side into mistakes, then you're the side creating them— we've certainly been that team making most of the mistakes for the past few months. Turnovers are key in nearly every goal sport and Wagner sets his sides up to win those battles— and his players are willing to run through walls for him.

The top sides in the world are playing this way. Red Bull set up an international system around it because it works.

Granted, Wagner's team doesn't play the sexiest football right now, but bringing Huddersfield to the Prem and keeping the club there are incredible achievements. He's due for a step up and if we want to play like the big boys, he knows how they do it.

Very good points. I think the difference in their play comes down to the quality and confidence of the players. I'd like to see what Wagner can do with a step up in quality.

Huddersfield dont press. They must be one of the most defensive sides in the league. Just because he's German and mates with Klopp doesn't mean they play the same.

Huddersfield were promoted with a negative goal difference.

They certainly weren't defensive in the championship. I actually went to watch them and I was very impressed with their football. I think he's simply just had to adapt to give them a chance of staying in the league.

Maybe he set up like that as he knew that would be the way they would survive in their 1st season in the prem? I think he had this game plan at the beginning of the season. He hasn't spent a lot really, yet is on the brink of keeping them up. That has to warrant some praise. You may say that Newcastle survived on not many signings, however their squad was stronger at the beginning so would do better in the prem. Maybe next season the chairman will give him a bigger budget and to make better signings. Also, they had a negative goal difference because they were more attacking and more open. Would that have made it in the prem?

I don't see that as a negative, I see that as aan who knows his squad and limitations and how the best way to survive in a tough league.

Is he right for Leicester City? Will he be willing to leave somewhere where it's his team and his project, maybe or maybe not. One thing is for sure, I think he'll be one to look out for in the future

Considering Dyche almost joined before puel you are wrong.

Considering Dyche is now in Europe, I'm not.

What evidence is there for Dyche being approached in the first place?  Paper talk?

A number of players seem to have lost their appetite for the game. There is a lack of skill, urgency, and pride at the moment, and Puel appears to be a very laid back character, which is not what we need from a manager, He seems a nice guy, but that appears to be his only quality. The players need sorting out, big time.

Let's hope we get a new man in, and one that can sort things out, properly.

We've missed the boat on Dyche now. He won't leave Burnley now they've made the Europa league. Shame he would have been ideal here

I tend to agree with this.:)

The owners will always have the ace up the sleeve Pearson card to play to save us if ever required too. They know the players love him and will just perform to their potential for him, because that alone is enough for us to stay up comfortably with these players. That's my theory on why they got him in as manager at what is effectively our feeder club anyway, he'll always be there for a short term fix if our manager is doing crap in February/March.

If Puel is here in March we

will already be too far gone to save.
